  1. I'd have gone for Pickering, a lot more aggressive on all types of tracks than both.
  2. Probably the best side they could have named but shows how far behind they are outside of the top 2. Will be lucky to get anything more than what Lambert scores
  3. If he's paid bonus points, which by his scoring over the last decade would suggest, he clearly does. Makes himself employable in each league each season on 'bargain averages' 55 BPs in 2025 60 in 2024 56 in 2023 and 40 so far this year. His riding average is always around half a point more than his GSA, you can't fault him on it in a sport with silly team building rules. Dare I say it, if there was a squad system/no average limits, he probably kicked on a lot more than he as
  4. Which is probably why Cairns appears to be much more consistent than Rushen at Poole. Lawson happy to sit behind him in third or second to help keep his average down
  5. Will probably end up something like: A – SCUNTHORPE: Jacob Hook & Luke Harrison. B – BERWICK: Palovaara & Jenkins C – GLASGOW: Chris Harris & Leon Flint. D – WORKINGTON: Tate & Drew Kemp. E – REDCAR: Charles Wright & Jason Edwards. F – OXFORD: Sam Masters & Killen. G – EDINBURGH: Sedgman & Kye Thomson. H – POOLE: Richard Lawson & Zach Cook. I – PLYMOUTH: Barker & Danny King.
  6. I thought that at the British Final, seemed very happy with 'just' being second in every race. Granted it worked well but he was no where near as aggressive on the track as the other 15. He's coming along as a good little rider but does seem to lack that edge that would push him to the next level and probably why his Polish opportunities have been limited.
  7. Polish press are all over it, and it wouldn’t be out of the realms of possibility. there’s quite a few of the sgp boys that look like they haven’t eaten a meal in a good few months.
  8. Woffy's interview on the SGP podcast would suggest doping in all sorts of forms is rife.
  9. Whilst terrible news for Riss who I very much enjoy watching, why was he announced before a proper fitness test? Surely the change should be reversed, as they have a replacement already there for him? If a guest facility is now in place, with a higher average, it will only cause more questions about rule manipulation
  10. Great signing that, not a bad week for him with Poole and Gniezo announced
  11. His eyes have never been fixed so high before though🤣
  12. Kelvin already getting names wrong and apologising that he won't be able to keep up with changes. They have to go without him next year
  13. Cheers @racers and royals Good job the GP programmes come unfilled!
  14. Sorry, another Q…. if Frdddie doesn’t make it through the SWC semi, does Pollestad have to stay over for the GP or a reserve take his place?
  15. If I was lucky enough to be in a position to build a track/club from scratch (with some very deep pockets) the first thing I'd be doing is following the Industry Hills model in the US where the track is essentially in a giant open sided warehouse. No rain offs to worry about. Then it would need to be big enough to facilitate 7 aside 4g football pitches, possibly a gym attached. You could run event's/summer/Christmas festivals etc there Making the track suitable for other disciplines such as flat track would also be a must. Because the vast majority of tracks in the UK have been around so long there isn't the infrastructure there to build upon to diversify. The stark difference in the infrastructure at Leicester to Belle Vue who were only built 4/5 years apart is more than evident
  16. Will it be Huckenbeck in for Kubera, assuming the broken arm reports from DK last night are correct?
  17. No Kyle Howarth, taking a break from racing HOWARTH TAKES A BREAK FROM RACING - Glasgow Tigers Speedway
  18. Seems to be becoming the new Adam Roynon, shame as there’s a lot of talent there
  19. If he was switched on enough and had a life changing opportunity on the plate, he probably should have kept it in his pants for a few hours! Or as stories seem to differ, seek permission/advise of a potential delay to arriving home due to an opportunity of employment. Not rocket science is it
  20. There was a shovel incident with Stoney and Anders but that was at Sheffield in the PLRC. I can remember something in a Mavericks meeting but I thought it was a broom? No idea who though. Some great ones there - Scotty also put his bike under the ambulance at Stoke giving it too much up the hill back to the pits after a fall in the race. That Will Beverage and Mick Powell incident was a shocker, ruined his career.
  21. Makes sense, thanks! Will be surprised if Lambert and MJJ do it if they have a decent result this weekend
