  1. He's having the similar season to Danny King last year. Was paired with a rider not as good as him so was always going to score a point at least until the harder rides so average appears to have gone up but they aren't really beating anyone of note. But for Flint the lower average riders he's easily beating in the championship he can't seem to get near in the prem.
  2. what @szkocjasid said! Not having a full 7 when they have the chance is ridiculous
  3. Dropping and not replacing isn't what the question was about? It was can you drop someone and replace them when you have an injured rider and leave the injured one in the declared 7 - which as the dates show, Oxford did. My 'theory' is based on my opinion that you shouldn't do the above and they should have been made to use Riss for Kerr, not Klindt.
  4. I got Riss and Cook mixed up but green sheets shows Riss for Klindt effective 18/4- Kerr broke his ankle on the 11th April. They rode at Ipswich on the 18th with Nicholls and Clouting guested Nicholls guested for Ker on the 25th April vs Kings Lynn Cook then came in for Kerr 1st May and made his debut at Sheffield. So in theory, the change should have been Riss for Kerr on the 18th as he was the injured rider.
  5. They dropped Klindt when Kerr was injured and signed Cook to replace Klindt didn't they?
  6. Oxford have and possibly Kings Lynn
  7. It was no different to a large amount of passes in the SON - none were questioned. He lifted and gained control quick enough to stop the accident - Lampart quick enough to also help prevent it. IF anything was questionable last night (bar the commentary) it was Howarth's pass on Flint, but again that was due to him picking up and lifting coming out of the corner.
  8. I've been thinking similar this season, the 'production crew' seems to have trebled but the actual product feels like its been significantly diluted. Perhaps they weren't as visible in the past or were better at going unnoticed but there seems to be someone stood around doing nothing with a WBD shirt on in every shot.
  9. Surely Lightcap is the better option, especially long term. I like Gino but he's more accident prone than Kerr
  10. All of the changes so far have just felt like cost cutting. they won’t change the reserves at this stage and the Riss connections have been heavily discussed so it’s only really wright or Harris that would go and unless it’s Zmarzlik/Vaculik coming in there isn’t any point to those
  11. He came back way too quick from those bad breaks. As much stick Plymouth get for Kennett gate they've not had much luck with all the no1's they've signed recently have getting pretty badly hurt . Unless R Worrall makes a comeback I can't see him being replaced.
  12. As probably anticipated, Covatti out for the season.
  13. Didn’t expect him to do it but KIillen would have been the first call I would have made in Lemons place. Don’t ask don’t get and all that! Mulford makes sense as he’s the perfect replacement for Bailey
  14. I read it more like Lynn will close and the licence would be transferred to Swaffham.
  15. Surely Killen would be top of the RS list to guest at Oxford?
  16. St Davids is in the centre, about 5 mins walk from the stadium, The Fan Zone is about 7-10 mins. £11.70 up to 10 hours. Dumfries place is about 10-15 from both - possibly the one you mentioned. Both fill up quote quickly on the weekends. Last year was chaos as there was an event in the arena opposite St David's but it looks like the GP is the only thing on in Cardiff that Saturday. There are a few around town but St David's is the safest and largest. Park and ride used to be on the A48 but I think its since been closed down from lack of funding.
  17. @Islander15 could I make an injury replacement? Vale for Cairns
  18. Killen looked good but surely they'd go with Mulford before Sheffield give him a run out for one of their reserves. Voulas and Mulford for Tate and Connor?
  19. Always covered over with advertising and the track is built up so high you would barely see the tops of helmets going past. We sat in the front row (closest available to the track) going into the third bend for the first one and barely saw a thing. Top tier is the best at the Millennium, lets you see so much more.
  20. Finally finished last nights meeting. Great end to a great week of racing. Lambert the best rider on show all week, the Latvians impressed as did the Germans. Huckenbeck has to be near the top of Lemons shopping list next year. Less said about the Danes the better. Nice to see Zmarzlik show he can’t get going when it’s against him. That tapes exclusion rattled him more than the crash I think. Personally thought Kurtz was the right choice but putting him off 4 after GB were so good of 1/3 in the semi, sums Lemons management up for me.
  21. If they can lay the same track here as they did for Warsaw, £20 will be a bargain. They’ve got more floor space at the principality so it shouldn’t be a problem to replicate size and shape. Big ask though!
  22. Thanks RnR suspected that was the case but good to confirm. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dudek coming in for Magic for the final. edit - now not surprised as announced as I was posting!
  23. Enjoyed last night a lot more than Tuesday, even with two run away sides it was a great meeting overall. I probably would have enjoyed it more being there as I'd have actually seen all of the overtakes/close calls etc but unfortunately that's what we've come to expect from Discovery/Eurosport on the watching front! Pollestad looks a great talent and the Latvian, while not beating anyone of real note, looked very handy - could he replace Tate Z? Not sure why USA went with Nicol/Manzieres and not Lightcap for the experience. Can teams make changes before the final?
  24. Doesn't smith have the higher ave as well? Surely he would be the one to let go considering the trust they've shown in Pijper so far
