  1. It'll be the same no doubt. The SWC's of the past at the AFA have been mainly been gate and go so can't see it being any different this time.
  2. Didn't live up to expectations but what is it with away side at Peterborough. Glasgow gated ok but constantly curb crawled and the Panthers blasted round the outside.
  3. He loves getting on his bike and if there's an opportunity to ride he'll take it. He's not riding like he's burnt out so right now it's not a problem.
  4. It's not actually true though is it, if a player has been in the UK long enough to earn British Citizenship and passport they can represent England even if they've represented other country at full international level. Off the top of my head we had it with Bruce Grobbelaar and more recently Wojciech Szczęsny. Same as most sports though, pro-athletes don't tend to stick around long enough to gain citizenship.
  5. Sod all the nonsense on this thread, what's important is it the tracks good this should be a great meeting for BT to kick off the league campaign.
  6. Unfortunately, the BSPA or any other sporting federation have no say in the process. There's a legal position on this where Rory covers all the criteria to race the British Final. As much as it upsets some, Rory can compete as much as he so wishes.
  7. Doyle looked in absolute agony at the end, should think he'll sit out league racing until SWC next weekend
  8. A top top SGP. You really can't help but like Doyle, has everything you want in a rider. Tonight really did serve up some butt hole nipping, looking through your fingers moments. This has been one of the best series since the GP's started. I'm a little concerned on what junk could come through the GP Challenge in August for 2018.
  9. Looking forward to this one, should be a cracking meeting. Hopefully it's a dry but dull day and plenty of water gets put down to keep the dust to a minimum.
  10. Unfortunately after all the talk and being asked to be judged on 2017 Buster hasn't walked the walk as BSPA Chairman. This season has been as bigger mess as any other offer the last decade. The new chairman has been a flop imo
  11. So, can this team be improved by re-declaring to 42.00 or like for like or is this the best available? 1. Troy Batchelor 7.93 2. Thomas Jorgensen 6.08 3. Kai Huckenbeck 6.17 4. Robert Lambert 7.46 5. Chris Holder 7.27 6. Lewis Rose 5.33 7. Danny Ayres 3.00 43.24 I'd say it's the best we can do, maybe Ty Proctor or Justin Sedgmen could add top league experience and bring some Aussie camaraderie
  12. Some people may think that's some statement but I actually agree. For Rose though, he seems to get tangled up with injuries every season. Had he not suffered injuries the last couple of years he'd be an established 2nd string going on 3rd heatleader comfortably. Lambert has got real issues with his gating ala Chris Harris, it's gonna really kill his progression if he doesn't get that sorted. With regards to Lambert also, I think he has to get away from King's Lynn while the track conditions are as they are now and get on a "real" Premiership race track. Somewhere like Somerset or Belle Vue.
  13. Shouldn't miss any Wednesday home meetings which is the most important
  14. I'll be taking in more visits to the best track in the Championship at Peterborough
  15. How do you think the team will look with the revised line-up 1. Troy Batchelor 7.93 2. Thomas Jorgensen 6.08 3. Kai Huckenbeck 6.17 4. Robert Lambert 7.46 5. Chris Holder 7.27 6. Lewis Rose 5.33 7. Danny Ayres 3.00 43.24 Kai & Robert get on really well so I'd certainly partner them up as they'll ride together 3 times Chris & Lewis get on really well so I'd keep that partnership getting 2 rides together. Jorgensen does gate well and looks fast which could be very important up against opposition No1's in heat 1 along side Troy and facing the opposition No3's & No5's in his other 2 races and getting heat 8.
  16. By the response I'm getting on Twitter it seems people are happy with what they're being served and see no wrong so it's confirmed for me 2017 IS my last season of watching the Stars.
  17. Will take any kind of win tonight but just don't see it happening
  18. All figures are a ÷1.2 of their championship figures
  19. Good odds I'd say. Why would he be anything else but a 7.00, done absolutely nothing in the Speedway world as yet.
  20. We wouldn't be re-declaring though, just a like for like change. Jorgensen has been introduced on his Championship 7.30 average which took us to exactly 50.00. What's being said it's for Jorgensen to get a Premiership average he'd still have to do 4 home 4 away. If that's the case, we can benefit hugely imo if there's no conversion in place between the Premiership's new averages and the Championship.
  21. King's Lynn wouldn't do that if they could as the promotion ain't sharp enough. But if what is being said correct King's Lynn can certainly benefit from giving Jorgensen 7 matches then sack him for another 7.30 Championship rider.
  22. Potential thunderstorms around tapes up time tomorrow. If this does get called off, can we still have Jorgensen in the team or does a replacement then have to be sort under Porsing's new average?
  23. I may be alone but I don't want this kid anywhere near the King's Lynn side. He's had money thrown at him and he isn't all that. If we're to go for a young Pole, it should be Maksym Drabik.
  24. With regards to who? Barker's average is less than Jorgensen's.
