  1. Don't think he'll get the push at Torun as that Monster d!k runs the show there doesn't he?!?
  2. As slow as the start of the season has been you can see the improvements slowly. We've had to many seasons starting off fast only to see it fade badly towards the end. Most importantly if our lads can have an injury free season for once I still believe we'll be there or thereabouts come the Play-Offs. We just need to get Porsing going, there's not many rider's about as good as him on their day. Saying that, still wouldn't mind Tungate in and get that Aussie factor back in the team. We always seem to be at our best with Aussies in the team, especially in the PL days
  3. Was always going to lose 3-4 points off that average anyway and his performances are improving for us so don't really think much of it to be honest. Next thread
  4. Seeing as Lambert's signing seems to be all above board it's a very good signing. People saying he won't be any good away, who cares. We're struggling to get things done at home and that's the priority thought right now. If Simon only gets 3 rides and scores 3-5 a meeting, that's all the difference from a close meeting to a comfortable home win.
  5. And Simon should still be 5.25. Somerset when making their changes had to use season starting averages building to 50. It doesn't make sense how this has been allowed to go through.
  6. 3.58 with his NL 2.5% reduction but still to high
  7. Nope, the riders has to have had a season starting average of 3.31 or less.
  8. It can't be Simon Lambert as he'd have to come in on his starting average until we've completed the 4 home 4 away as a team
  9. Whilst I understand where you're both coming from the problem is, it looks like we'll need to replace 2 to get a half decent No7. We not really going to get much improvement in the team by just replacing Bailey. For me, Porsing makes far more sense to let go for the greater good.
  10. Huckenbeck, Holder and Bailey have 1 away meeting but the others, the averages below will be their new averages. Lambert 7.89 Batchelor 7.89 Holder 6.53 Huckenbeck 5.94 Rose 5.50 Porsing 4.75 Bailey 2.00 Total 40.50 With the revised 42 limit we can only replace Bailey with a 3.50 rider. With the improvement in Huckenbeck and Holder's form that 3.50 will be even less. As a team manager, I'd be ruthless now and replace Porsing and Bailey. Giving us 10.30 for 2 replacements now for me is a better option than waiting for Porsing to drop 2 points off his average, this would leave us with 8.25 to replace both.
  11. Have to say, that was one of the best meetings for years at the AFA. Absolutely brilliant racing and the track producing racing lines of yesteryears. The fact the track is being left ungraded is creating it's own lines throughout the evening. This punter went home the happiest for a long long time
  12. Taken from the Shawn Mendes "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" [Verse 1] I wanna follow where they go I think about them and they know it I want the Stars to take control 'Cause everytime that they get close, yeah [Pre-Chorus] They pull us in even if we have a guest in And I will shout when we finally go racin' Go racin', yeah [Chorus] Oh, I've been shaking I love it when we go crazy They take all my inhibitions Fact, King's Lynn Stars are on the attack They take us places and tear up others reputations Never suffer exclusions Fact, King's Lynn Stars are on the attack King's Lynn Stars are on the attack King's Lynn Stars are on the attack [Verse 2] The King's Lynn Stars are never afraid That's why the opposition's shakin' We're mostly first out the gate If not we'll do the chasin' [Pre-Chorus] They pull us in even if we have a guest in And I will shout when we finally go racin' Go racin', yeah [Chorus] Oh, I've been shaking I love it when we go crazy They take all my inhibitions Fact, King's Lynn Stars are on the attack They take us places and tear up others reputations Never suffer exclusions Fact, King's Lynn Stars are on the attack King's Lynn Stars are on the attack King's Lynn Stars are on the attack [bridge] 'Cause when we win our meetings and we took it to the bar I know we'd be alright, I know we would be alright With you there by my side as I stumble to a car I know we'd be alright, I know we would be alright 'Cause when we win our meetings and we took it to the bar I know we'd be alright, I know we would be alright With you there by my side as I stumble to a car I know we'd be alright, I know we would be alright [Chorus] Oh, I've been shaking I love it when we go crazy They take all my inhibitions Fact, King's Lynn Stars are on the attack They take us places and tear up others reputations Never suffer exclusions Fact, King's Lynn Stars are on the attack King's Lynn Stars are on the attack I feel so free when we are winnin', I say King's Lynn Stars are on the attack
  13. If that's as inventive as it gets maybe we really shouldn't bother
  14. That's what I mean by opposite. We're all different & have different ways of dealing with things. I certainly will have no qualms about celebrating a great race or meeting tomorrow night, if anything, what happened last night in Manchester gives me more determination to properly enjoy some sunshine Speedway
  15. I'm totally the opposite, these sh!+y terrorists want to spoil lives and make us live in fear. Not me, fu© em' and continue to enjoy life, you never know what's round the corner
  16. No points lost by Peter Adams, Freddie Lindgren and Wolves at all. A home win is 3 points regardless, Swindon's point will have no effect on Wolves
  17. With the weather looking to be a cracker for this week the football is going on record. King's Lynn Stars Sunshine Speedway is calling me Reminder of the PL days: King's Lynn 75 Rye House 15
  18. Season tickets should include half price admission to away matches As for chanting, have wanted to to this at King's Lynn but only a handful seem interested in bothering. Maybe we should go down the route of rentacrowd to get people involved.
  19. Should imagine with the 'imminent ' new track coming the promotion ain't willing to spend to much money on the current track Great result from the Stars, with a bit more from Porsing the team is where most of use expected at the start of the season. If this form continues, it really doesn't matter who's at No7 as the No6 should always be strong enough to cope.
  20. I'm not so sure. I think this meeting is all down to which Eddie Kennett turns up. Harris and Nicholls can beat anyone around the AFA and both Rye reserves have the beating of Bailey.
  21. Same, but I am feeling pretty negative about how we're playing at the moment. The good thing is, it shouldn't be a draw as we're away from OT YA-NI-TED!!!!!
  22. Those Panthers folk don't know what fun and banter is. They always get upset about nothing, it's that Gypo instinct
  23. The GTR is showing how unviable the PJR GM is so far this season with the main 3 in Woffy, Holder & Hancock failing quite miserably in the 2 GP's. They'll now be sending their motors back to be had a look at (more expense) while Fast Freddie has his sitting in the shed until the next one
