We did and the promotion then wasn't shy to make changes. Since going EL we've gone soft
-
This change is much of a muchness but I wish my club would be as ruthless as Matt Ford. It's why we at King's Lynn always fall short and Poole win, no resting on ones laurels.

Educational Benefits Of The Bsf

I'm a big Woffinden fan but I'm enjoying his struggles too I'm interested how he's going to turn his GP Series around if at all he can, how he would cope if he finished outside the top 8. -
Where? Starke increases you teams total average. The only choice I can see is replacing Zengota but with who?

Speedway World Cup 2017
Daniel Smith replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Have to admit I'm not sure how the U21 rule works. Almost certainly the first 8 races will be done by the starting 1-4. Can the U21 still take 5 rides between heats 9-20? If so then Lambert at reserve is the only option. Plus Harris/Cook can take a TS if needed so we could be really strong in the 2nd half of the meeting. I do far though that we could be troubled by the Czech team. Australia should cruise it to the final. -
If you think a 6.7 average is cleaning up at reserve? Only adding just over a point to his starting average. I'd say that's a fail so far and Klindt should be scoring far better.

King's Lynn Stars 2017
Daniel Smith replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
His average is to high anyway We really only have 2 (not very good) options if Simon is out for some time Liam Carr Jake Knight There really is nothing else about -
Think it's nailed on to be Paul Starke but not really sure if he'll add anything to this Poole team. This issue for Poole is the lack of true heatleader power and Klindt who should be cleaning up as a reserve but isn't. James Shanes with all the hope has failed to deliver too. Poole need KK back and on form or they'll have no chance of a title in 2017

King's Lynn Stars 2017

Starke has a 4.12 ave from Somerset -
As a neutral I did enjoy the meeting. Some good brave passing and a couple of hard crashes with heat 15 being the worst. Shocked both Morris and Holder got up from it. Simon really could do with some luck on the injury front. The most important thing was the fact my 2yo daughter loved it. Her enthusiasm was far greater than any meeting she's attended at King's Lynn this season. The 2 mascots really do add to the entertainment value for the youngsters. Got some thinking to do for 2018 as the impossible could be reality in that EoES could get my money over the AFA. I just felt there was more on offer, more VFM.

King's Lynn could be back in the fooked position if Simon Lambert is out -

Using Lambert as reserve is madness. You have to go with the strongest 1-4 possible. Can't see the 4 being anything but Harris Cook Lambert Worrall S -
Coming to have a look for the first time as a neutral. Any ideas on who is actually riding at all?

Tickets For Prague
Daniel Smith replied to Tricky's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
People say Tai isn't what he was. I'm not sure that's right, he's doing the exact same things as the last 3 years. I'd say what's different is the new breed having bigger elbows, harder swinging rear wheels and rear wheel chasers. So far this series I've realised just how soft the series had been over the last 2-3 years. Now we have Lindgren, Doyle, Zmarzlik, Dudek, Vaculik, Pawlicki all in the top 8 willing to throw machines at each other. If you're not prepared for an on track fight you'll fall short and for me, Tai is sort of that fighting spirit. -
It seems riders are also fleeing from PJR for other GM tuners Is this down to cost or simply they're no longer "THE" engine tuner to have? Who is doing Doyle's and the super fast Poles GP motors?

Kings Lynn Stars Vs Rye House 07/06/17

Can't be bothered with next week as KO Cup's not part of the season ticket. -

Daniel Smith replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If I was sceptical I'd say it's a bit of average manipulation with the next Premiership fixture being away to Somerset on the 16th June. Riding another home meeting would see the averages increase which we probably don't want. -

Redcar Half Team V Glasgow Strong Team
Daniel Smith replied to oldywonkenoldi's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
There are factors that makes this BSPA decision understandable and clear in their statement. Heat 10 had already been started twice with the exclusions of both Redcar riders As stated, at worst Glasgow would still have been 8 up if their rider's hadn't completed the heat Because of the worst possible outcome of heat 10 and the Bears curfew at 10pm no other outcome was possible -

The averages do fit, Przedpełski would come in on a 7.00 based on his Polish and Swedish figures from 2016 -

Simon was the difference last night and my 'Man of the Meeting' The 7 points he scored won us the meeting as the usual 0 from No7 would have seen the result a home draw -
Wouldn't surprise me if the Simon version beats him, it's the sort of thing that can happen with him in the team. Huckenbeck is also more than capable
-
A club collective. It's about the Stars v anybody, the 1-7's irrelevant. The issue is people get to hooked up on rider's rather than support their clubs themselves.
-
Nonsense I'm a King's Lynn Stars fan not a Holder, Lambert, Batchelor, Porsing, Rose, Huckenbeck, Lambert fan. The 1-7 are a club collective and that's what the atmosphere should be about. Maybe consistent local lads (Robert Lambert, Lewis Rose) in the team may get their own tune.

While those PL sides sweeped up I still have a much bigger affection for the 2005 team Rye House looking to be treble winners and in the space of a week destroyed their dreams handsomely. That atmosphere at Rye those two night's will live firmly in the memory as their fans were well and truly irritated while we were all going f'in mental with joy. That was the year that sent us on the road to success in later years.
