  1. Absolutely agree. Absolutely disgraceful We've turned into a farce of a club with the focus completely removed from the paying public
  2. Perfect conditions here in Norfolk at the moment. The track will have plenty of grip which will suit both teams. On paper the King's Lynn 7 looks the stronger but our team never seem to all click together. I personally feel tonight's result relies on whether Huckenbeck turns up or not. Stars to win, Swindon to take a point 46-44
  3. In your opinion & in the minority it's the right thing to do
  4. Nah, the actual Speedway stuff has been boring. This is totally adding entertainment to the forum Keep it coming lads & lasses
  5. With you on that, Jakobsen should be used when available. Saying that, Huckenbeck has an opportunity tonight to put things right and as a fan, we need the win so he has to.
  6. KING’S Lynn can give their play-off push a major shot in the arm with a win against Swindon at the Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday (7.30). The Roger Warnes Transport Stars have reignited their top four ambitions with back to back wins including a tremendous away triumph at Coventry. They will now go in search of three more vital points to close the gap on fourth-placed Lakeside to just two points. Team boss Rob Lyon knows they can ill-afford any more slip-ups on home shale – and he is backing them to claim another important win. Said Lyon: “We go into the meeting with a fair bit of confidence in the camp after our two wins last week. “I certainly hope that after those two results we can keep our chances of a play-off place alive, starting on Wednesday. “This is a key match, probably more so for us than Swindon I would say, and we’re totally focused on winning the meeting. “There’s a good feel about the team at the moment, but ultimately it comes down to results.” The Stars have re-introduced German ace Kai Huckenbeck into their side for the meeting at the expense of Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen. Huckenbeck slots into the No.2 spot, with Kyle Howarth guesting at reserve in place of the injured Simon Lambert. Meanwhile, Swindon bring in Joe Jacobs to guest for Stefan Nielsen at reserve as they aim to bounce back from a crushing 62-30 defeat at Wolverhampton on Monday. KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Kai Huckenbeck, Rory Schlein, Troy Batchelor, Robert Lambert, Kyle Howarth, Lewis Rose. SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Rohan Tungate, Justin Sedgmen, Nick Morris, Josh Grajczonek, Charles Wright, Joe Jacobs
  7. Buster never opens the gates and let's people in for a rain off does he I like the fact King's Lynn called it off so we didn't get a tonking. At least we didn't go to heat 9 and then get it called off because we were getting thrashed.
  8. Off the top of my head just 1 I believe. Rory Schlein
  9. Speedibee is right but as per this thread, people are now interested in robert72. Here is a poster declaring they're a former rider, lined up against World Champions, wasn't rubbish, laying bets, saying they'll speak to riders to let his feelings known etc. On a forum, to come out with all that and not back it up people are going to keep picking and guessing. After all, it's a Speedway forum and he's a former 'Speedway rider'.
  10. What on earth have you taken from that interview? Having read it the headline should have been "Janowski being polite to Bournemouth Echo reporter so sits on the fence about Elite League return". That was an absolutely 'no news' article.
  11. What utter nonsense We rocked up at Belle Vue a couple of weeks back and raced on a completely soaked track with half a team.
  12. The BSPA banned all British rider's from competing as they don't recognise SEC as an official series. Robert Lambert competed on his German licence and Schlein was the only other rider willing to race for GB who wasn't a GB national.
  13. Is been explained to you before. The Australian schooling system did teach & sing their national anthem at young ages. At primary age, this is when it would have been drilled into Woffinden. He probably (like me) don't know the words to the British / English national anthem
  14. Also add announcer for Peterborough Panthers too I believe as a previous job
  15. But he has no need to respond to that post because Dazzafl has already told everyone very early on he's Darren Fletcher, the one very close to Tai Woffinden who had a bet about wearing a suit for the British GP. Even copied in the Facebook post Keep up
  16. NL rider at No2 unfavourable tricky track conditions, great call to go again another time. Still not forgetting with a heat to go at the AFA the Lions got the meeting abandoned while getting thrashed. Maybe the management haven't forgotten
  17. Was it R/R for Simon do you know? Leicester had R/R for Starke last night so that smells a little funny
  18. Josh Bates withdrawn from his guest booking for the Stars Nathan Greaves comes in as a replacement at No'2
  19. Think it was established some time ago that it's Robert Homer This is what I can find regarding the glittering career 1989..Coventry (British League 2) 1989..Coventry..1m..4r..1p..0b..1.00ave (British League 1) 1991..Sheffield Cubs (Junior League) 1992..Sheffield..5m..18r..6p..2b..1.78 (British League 2) 1993..Sheffield..4m..12r..6p..1b..2.33 (British League 2) To find the World Champion?!?! he rode against you need to find the 1 Coventry fixture in 1989
  20. So, were do people think we're at in making the Play-Off's? Is the growth in optimism a false dawn? The remaining fixtures: Away: Poole x2 - All others once more Home: Poole x2 Swindon Wolverhampton Lakeside Looking at the remaining home fixtures there's still some potential home defeats on the cards and we're 6 points off a Play-Off spot
  21. The 1 thing that will make things tough for the Stars that were evident from Thursday night. Gating, our track offered a route to pass, Leicester's is less likely to do so. We are the stronger team by a mile but do let ourselves down with our gating often. 46-44 either way
  22. Round 1 (Vojens, Denmark) Russia (Red) 1 Grigori Laguta 2 Emil Sayfutdinov Poland (Blue) 2 Patryk Dudek 4 Bartosz Zmarzlik Czech Republic (White) 1 Josef Franc 4 Vaclav Milik Denmark (Yellow) 2 Leon Madsen 4 Niels-Kristian Iversen Round 2 (Vastervik, Sweden) Australia (Red) 3 Max Fricke 4 Jason Doyle USA (Blue) 1 Greg Hancock 2 Ryan Fisher Germany (White) 1 Kevin Wolbert 2 Kai Huckenbeck Sweden (Yellow) 1 Antonio Lindback 2 Fredrik Lindgren
  23. And it should have been worse for Leicester. The only shining lights were Wozniak (would love to see him in Stars colours) & Starke. Again thought Rose was brilliant tonight in the main body and it is nice to see Batchelor come to life. When he's up for it he's great to watch Play-Off charge is on
