  1. Hemsley certainly has been the good, the bad and the ugly of Leicester Speedway. At the same time this could be really bad as the property developers will get wind of this pretty quick
  2. Why would an EGM be called? Chapman was the only one at the time to voice his displeasure. The others hadn't started shouting until the season had already started. What's he supposed to do? Scrap the league and start from scratch in June? There's some unrealistic views of Chapman's rein so far. From the get go, he said judge him from 2017 on, 2016's a rightoff Knowing Chapman as us Stars fans do he'd of done exactly as you suggest. But, you nailed on a previous thread when us fans were called thick, biased and what ever the other one was. Chapman is one voice, I fear even though he's Chairman at the end of the day he's still only one voice. What can a chairman do if all the other thicko's vote the opposite?!?
  3. All things 2016 were done and dusted before Chapman was voted in as Chairman. You know that. As soon as the AGM'S was over Chapman said he'd of done things very different for 2016. The only promoter to say such words immediately after. The other promoters are only crying about it now. They're the thick one's who are so short sighted. Obviously we have no idea what goes on but Chapman was the first and only to say it was bad. The other's didn't see what was wrong until their teams started racing.
  4. Glad I didn't spend £20 now. Haven't read any rave reviews about the King's Lynn meeting. Your right, our track is dog turd compared to as little as 5 years ago. I honestly can't put a finger what's gone so badly wrong apart from our previous track man Huggy was sacked because of an H&S issue.
  5. Looks an excellent race track. Super fast Poles & Danes will murder us round there in the SWC
  6. Don't think we'll see Harris back in the GP series ever again after this year.
  7. No he can't be in 2 places at once, but he'd of been a D/U and Belle Vue may have ran with a partner with him. Someone like Simon Stead who isn't interested in full time Elite. Similar to Lakeside with Kennett / Lawson
  8. 1 meeting I did want to see but can't get there. Feel this will be 1 of the best meetings in years at the Arena
  9. That MC member who had the "chat as a friend" was also the one that sent out total bull rubbish statement. That MC member clearly has an agenda to make sure Cook couldn't sign for Peterborough. To which, the signing itself isn't against any BSPA regulations. One thing Ged Rathbone certainly knows for sure now is that Rob Godfrey is no friends at all, just a back stabber
  10. They run alternative weeks though as the same track but if there is this "same race night" rule (which there isn't) then yes he shouldn't of been allowed
  11. And, if he'd of remained in the PL rather than try and break Poland there's no doubt Cook would have lined up for Edinburgh and Belle Vue
  12. Friday is the Colts race night. They're scheduled 7 currently with 3 more to reschedule
  13. Good luck, hopefully the correct decision will be made and Cook & Stokes are in
  14. There is no rule though. It's just a directive in the rule book that say the MC can decide what ever they wish to suit their need at the time regardless of regulations. There is no rule about D/U on the same race night.
  15. Just to pick up on a bit of Rob Godfrey's statement: "You simply cannot sign a rider when he already rides for a club on your racenight. King's Lynn switched from a Wednesday to a Thursday and as a consequence they had to lose Lewis Kerr from their team as he was already signed to a Thursday night track." This decision was made by the club and the rider jointly. This had absolutely nothing to do with BSPA directive that you can't have a home track on the same night. This came about because Lewis would have to priorities King's Lynn over Ipswich and would damage his earning potential. So Rob, don't add things to statements that you have factually wrong just to back your argument. As already stated, Dan Bewley rides for Belle Vue Colts & Edinburgh Monarchs. He missed the Scottish derby tonight to ride at the National Stadium. Double standards

  17. I do think Arson's comment was more tongue in cheek if anything. Chill peeps
  18. You're right, but that's in that clubs interest to do that. The issue here is that the BSPA have decided that interest, that is 100% wrong when Cooks move to the PL is legitimate
  19. You clearly have no interest in British rider's. Cook can't get a ride abroad and not for the want of trying. Him and his team have worked extremely hard to make that happen. You're asking Cook to run a Speedway career on 28 EL league fixtures. Think man ffs
  20. Correct, Belle Vue hold his 2016 registration. If he was changing PL clubs then it would be through said PL club due to priorities. The priorities are with the EL club in this instance
  21. The BSPA want to be so transparent their Twitter account blocked me
  22. I don't like the Panthers but BSPA, YOU'RE A FOOKIN JOKE AND KILLING SPEEDWAY
