Bspa Have Blocked Richard Hall`s Move To Brum!
Daniel Smith replied to Brummie Kev's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The BSPA on this occasion has made the right call. The National League is not the place for experienced riders. This has been an argument for years and now with Eastbourne, Birmingham and Cradley in the National League, the development aspect of the league is being lost to the win at all costs mentality. An attitude that will, and possibly is hindering youth development. -

Nobody should be made to sing the Queen's anthem. When we actually create a national anthem then come back to me -

Best wishes to Rempala, sounds absolutely dreadful & not something we wish to see, hear or read. as for this local derby, no very fiery as yet but maybe after today's news slow & steady may well do & lets all not forget how Woryna must be feeling right now. He'll be devastated -
Peterborough V Ipswich Plc Sunday 22nd May
Daniel Smith replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
There isn't any hype around Stokes. he's a steady progress prospect that has suffered a few injuries over the last couple of seasons. He's a rider that will build over time & not come as an instant impact. If Peterborough persevere with him you'll have a good little rider I'm confident of. -

Only because they're told to, not because they want to -
Suppose it'll help on that front by the fact the Belle Vue's EL home fixtures don't really kick off until June

You call him a nob but I think it's fair to question the viability of big Speedway events in Manchester. Ok, Manchester isn't the wettest place in the Britain, but it's right up there out of all the British Towns & Cities Manchester comes 4th in the number of days rain per year @152days Manchester comes 8th in the amount of rain per year @87cms The North West as a whole actually tops both these charts as regions These are facts and in the future, if things constantly fall foul of the weather this will be taken into consideration by the FIM / BSI. Lets be honest, Belle Vue have run over a large number of black cats since the official opening. Belle Vue need a good run in the fixtures now to relieve some of the pressure but these weather factors could be troubling.

I'm a big advocate of backing the Brits in the individuals & International meetings. Except Chris Harris, he now just does my head in. Always somebody else's fault for his garbage failings.

Timo Lahti has been knocking in some decent result's all over just recently, British teams should be looking at him again as he's also decent on the technical circuits -

I'm assuming the water cart is bust in this one? -
The option must have been there not to race the Semi Final. If Danny King had a GP Qualifier so was allowed to miss the British Semi why not Harris? Also, wasn't King & Kennett a couple of seasons back give special treatment to be able to race in the PL. Think they both had averages above 6 at the time if I remember?? If a PL promoter is willing to pay his wages on a 12 average then so be it & he should be allowed to drop down imo

Interesting read regarding Harris. Are we seeing another blast where he's blaming everybody else but himself? Such a passionate rider but does seem clueless with it at times. If his me or you was regarding Rosco then it's bye bye Harris for me. SWC Team : Woffinden Nicholls Cook Lambert / S Worrall Doesn't matter where he goes for the SGP Qualifiers, he should have got through them but he didnt and that's down to him

How about this for an idea. Have a 2 minute clock with the rules the same as GP's, Tapes up on 0 or excluded. Have a 20 meter zone from the start line back towards the 4th turn. Rider's cannot enter this zone until there's 15 seconds on the clock. The 2 minutes is then used for practice starts, clutch adjustments etc. Time saved all round

Swindon - Kings Lynn 19.5.16

Rules don't allow it as NBJ has British League experience. Foreign rider's have to be completely new to be No'8s -

Asked Rob Lyon. He confirmed No'8s can't be at reserve. If Jakobsen rides then Wilkinson moves into the 1-5. -
