  1. Yeah all right Shovlar, wind it in. We're trying to be nice to you guys, don't spoil it
  2. Pearson and Tatum gave Darcy the opportunity on a plate, even giving him the exact sentences to repeat and failed to take any of it in. Even when asked if he saw this as a last chance he pretty much chuckled under his breath with a no not at all. Arrogance was in abundance in front of the camera's. Didn't seem to have any regret at all.
  3. Even though we were humiliated in front of the camera's there was some good racing. That I'd say was one of the best prepared tracks for Poole in a while with a racing line inside and out. Poole get a lot (& often justified) criticism, tonight all round they get a hell of a lot of praise from me. Absolutely top draw stuff from Magic too, do love watching that lad
  4. I think Garrity is throttle jockey nutcase. Ben Barker Mark II. My opinion hasn't changed that he's a danger to others.
  5. No idea how the referee just came to that conclusion to exclude rider in white in heat 11
  6. Well, I'm on the side of Magic on this one. Regardless of the meaning of the meeting, if your International team come calling you ride. Just how it should be in any sport. On the flip side of that, Poland shouldn't be allowed to run an international meeting without the approval of the FIM. That's how it is in any other sport that the hierarchy has to approve. Onto the fixture, would Poole have to run a PL 6 pointer before a facility is granted or can a rider be deemed as withholding his services before they've actually been missing.
  7. You may have mistaken that there had been an ASH-TECH stamp on the engine case as the manufacture. It's never been so that ASH-TECH have manufactured a speedway engine, they're just and always have been a GM tuner
  8. Ok, what's mythical about what I said, explain? The reason the PL isn't packed out is because that just like the EL, speedway in this country over price itself to the masses. Only us die hards roll up week in week out even when we're not enjoying it. I keep saying to myself I'm gonna start picking and choosing meetings but I just can't leave it alone. There are mugs the same as me which is keeping speedway alive and the promoters know that and will continue to chuck a pound on the admission prices year after year because they know it'll get paid by the gullible.
  9. I'm an EL team fan & I seriously miss the PL. The rider's at that level seem far more appreciative of the paying fan. It's their bread and butter. The rider's that flit around Europe come in, earn pocket money (to them) then go again not really paying any attention to any of us that spend our dough. You even see it with rider's that double up / down, the best camaraderie is with their fellow PL rider's / fans. I don't really care much about the cost difference from EL - PL, local fans that travel to King's Lynn, Ipswich & Peterborough tend to feel they get better value for money from the PL by purely the racing alone. It doesn't matter a jot who lines up in the 1-7, it matters what's happening on the shale and I can confidently say the racing was better at PL level at King's Lynn even when we battered teams 60-30. I'd also guess Ipswich and Peterborough fans may feel similar in not really feeling the need to return to the EL?? I'd be well happy if we bumped down a level again. I'm actually fed up with unappreciative "Super Stars".
  10. Obviously not. Lyon or Buster would have done what they can. Just a thought, maybe Buster's anger in the British semi upset some potential guest bookings
  11. Well I'm pleased Masters is in. Think he'll do a better job than some are expecting.
  12. I'm struggling to see past an away win. When you see the line-up man for man it's Poole's without doubt.
  13. AshTech is just a tuner, not an engine
  14. We're desperate to have Lambert & Kerr in. Even with just 1 of those missing we're in trouble and only a slaughtering is inevitable
  15. Maybe it's just me but I'm guessing and I mean massively guessing, Janowski has done enough to get his average above 8.70 so Poole don't want him travelling to a track he doesn't go well at to save his June average. Janowski will now be out until the return of Darcy Ward
  16. Can only agree, it does seem people are becoming happy with the follow the leader racing so it's just us not overly enjoying it. To me, last night's FTG racing wasn't enjoyable at all.
  17. For me, the meeting was only enjoyable when Lambert was on track. Other than that it was pretty much FTG all night yet again. Surprised Lambert didn't get the nod in heat 15
  18. We'll win the SWC this year fella, you heard it here 1st. Poland & Denmark are on the slide. GB are coming back to the big time
  19. Starting to rain now and very very very breezy
  20. Has there been a rule change on Danish fixtures? Previously it had to be a PL 3 pointer as guests or something like that?
  21. And the points they've got are against rider's of no pedigree. Very poor
  22. The way he performed the World Speedway League meeting the other week, it would be criminal not to include him if we get past the qualifier at King's Lynn. There are no Brits except Harris & Woffy better than him right now (excluding Nicholls as he's not interested).
  23. Could not agree more. 1 Worldy race in heat 15, 2 ok races and the rest were crap. Heart 15 showed it's capabilities of being world class track are still there but for some reason or other it's not delivering. It's like Leicester, a drag race to turn 1
