To add insult to injury the same guy is still involved with another club, although I think there is at least one stadium that he's not allowed to enter as he owes them too allegedly.

I don't understand the fuss about Sandhu forcing Martin O & his mother out. Anyone who has been around a while will have seen this type of situation in everyday business. Someone buys out a company, when public announcement is made it invariably includes the words " So & So the previous owner will be continuing as director of the new company" , all intended to keep the existing customers sweet. A few months later when the new owner has his feet under the table the former owner is eased out. The practise has been going on for for years, no big deal really.

What do you imagine Mr Ford owns at Poole Speedway that he can sell for millions ?

Eternal Father strong to save ?

Back in the early 60's I regularly saw advertising posters for Coventry Speedway in towns as far away as 40miles from Brandon. The posters were changed each week to advertise the next team to visit ,and even included a list of half a dozen or so riders who would be appearing. How times change, not only have the posters disappeared , but quite often fans turn up to meetings without knowing who's in their team.

I think you need to make up your mind. Just yesterday you were telling us that Sandhu is Brandon Estates,now you are telling us they wouldn't want him operating the stadium. Which Is it!!!

The riders will still be able to alter the " set ups" I'm sure. The bits like carb and ignition changes etc will still be possible on a" sealed engine", the parts that will not be accessible are the engine internals, and that's where the big money goes. We are assuming of course that the method of sealing the engine is foolproof.

It didn't look much like Asda to me . Not sure who's car park it was TBH but there was very Lidl passing from what I saw .

It's not "fanning the flames". A comment from Horton is required, and should have been on the club website early today.

In my opinion he has a duty to make some sort of comment , if for no other reason than to show respect to the parties involved in the negotiations.

When can expect a comment from the speedway promoter I wonder.

I think mrcts is still living in the1980's. He probably thinks the CO is still in charge at Brandon & imagines it's payback time.
