  1. Boughen is going to go the furthest out of that field if he keeps his feet on the ground. Very good display by Vinnie Foord too.
  2. Very much agree with that. I think he's far too good anyway but people do seems to leave huge holes for him.
  3. I think Robert probably learned a bit of a lesson from getting passed by Magic in the SWC last year. Last night he achieved four second places when going after the race leader on a poor track gives the bloke in third a chance to attack him and get past. I think that's just sensible riding. What he does need to crack is the psychology of semi finals and finals, he's not turning enough of them into podiums and wins. As for the series, Zmarzlik is once again going to win it at a canter barring disaster and for me that's the main issue, a lack of jeopardy. I'm not particularly interested in people riding into eachother and riders being fenced personally.
  4. That's a bloody good effort by Plymouth, they have a lot of spirit and determination.
  5. More significantly Ipswich have an extremely wealthy sponsor, Lynn don't.
  6. Bewley will be fine at BV, and GB will have as much chance as anybody because of where it is.
  7. Completely controlled by Wroclaw unfortunately as has been said many times before.
  8. No worries. Were any further details spoken about at the track last night about Monday's postponement?
  9. You've got your wires crossed, I wasn't referring to Monday's meeting which has been quietly postponed with minimal fuss. And one assumes without an SCB enquiry
  10. Absolutely spot on, and exactly my viewpoint when Lynn postponed and got punished. The governing body should never be allowing fixtures on nights when riders are already absent. All this garbage about 'facilities being available' is exactly that, the paying public deserve better. Unforseen rider absence is quite different.
  11. We've only ridden eight meetings. If he made the right changes there's no reason why we couldn't finish above Leicester, Oxford & Brum.
  12. I had exactly the same thought when I heard that. He may even be more willing to come to the UK now that the GP qualifiers are out of the way until October.
  13. I'd suggest that his scores from there so far say that he is.
  14. You need to get out more. Try going to Glasgow, Workington, Redcar, Oxford or Scunthorpe for example. Broaden your horizons a little.
  15. Can see both sides but you wonder whether he'd be missing meetings for Rybnik.
  16. I'm assuming this is tongue in cheek, but if he/his Polish club/Lynn all agree to get him back later in the season is that permitted?
  17. If it came to it I think he would. No bridges were burned. As you say though I'd be amazed if he's not back at Oxford.
  18. Where's Kieran going to end up I reckon Derby's record might be under threat next season
  19. Well it's a point but should have been two. Best wishes to Jason Doyle.
  20. That was my guess on the pod last night, might be a bit closer if Paddy has another good night but more likely to be a wider margin. You never know though.
  21. What it suggests to me is that we've been in the wrong league for at least four seasons, we just can't compete at the top level nowadays and are simply making up the numbers. Fifteen years
