  1. This suggests that he has withdrawn from his Swedish and Danish commitments to ride for Lynn and Brum; http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31057
  2. Was going to say the same, nobody claimed they had
  3. Will be interesting to see how the situation with Holder, Bewley, Kurtz, Klindt and others riding in Poland pans out, at the end of the day if their clubs demand that they remain over there and don’t travel due to covid then that’s what will happen.
  4. At the risk of repeating myself it’s a team built on a budget, otherwise I’m sure the extra money would have been spent to brig it up to the points limit. No doubt having to fund the Panthers too is a large part of that. It looks like a 5th/6th place team unless Bridger explodes back into the scene, if he ends up being a heat leader then everyone moves down a spot in the order and it looks a stronger side, seems unlikely though. What I will say is that I’ve got some enthusiasm back for it, am actually looking forward to going at some point and I haven’t said that too many times since Holder/Batchelor gate in 2017. Fingers crossed the track is slicker so we get done better racing.
  5. Perhaps you’re right but I find it a bit far fetched that the BL is seen as a threat. In my opinion it should be a training league and the vast majority of the riders in it should be inexperienced youngsters with minimal professional third division riders. I appreciate that Mildenhall and IOW probably fall in between the NL and the Championship which is a great pity, ideally you would want them in the second division but it’s well known that crowd levels haven’t supported that in the past.
  6. And a load of track grading or long pauses between re runs. All the usual garbage which people are fed up with.
  7. Nothing against Lawson but that would be the best scenario.
  8. It’s been suggested they are trying to persuade Riss to change his mind.
  9. Pedersen apparently turned down Lynn for P’boro due to the tracks. Don’t see an awful lot between the two teams really, Cook is the best rider from the two sides by some distance whereas Boro are much more solid. Buster has quite clearly stuck with riders who each set of fans have an affinity with, Lynn’s hopes seem to be pinned on Bridger sticking a couple of points on his average.
  10. Never gonna happen with Buster bankrolling two clubs.
  11. Would be very surprised if it’s anyone else.
  12. Add ‘when he did’ at the end of your sentence and it’s more accurate.
  13. How long ago was this stated? I seem to remember it was several years ago it was said that red stuff was unavailable. As others have said though if the stuff used now is cheaper it’s no surprise it’s used, let’s just hope there is far less of it on the track this year.
  14. Expected, this team succeeds or fails on the final signing. Cheer up tellboy
  15. Not really, all it would take is Swindon restarting and one Champ team wanting some TV exposure and it’s back to eight. You really should cut out all this ‘us and them’ stuff, it benefits nobody.
  16. It’s less than ideal and I’ve always criticised the product and people who put it on when necessary but I think the fact that we are going to have any speedway at all in 2021 is by far the most important thing. A six team league is a fair way short of satisfactory but it is what it is for 2021. Needs to be two or three teams bigger for next year.

  18. Cook or Masters assuming Crump doesn’t roll back the years, nobody else in the frame IMO.
  19. Other than Scunny who I would put lower I agree pretty much with that, however I’m struggling to see how Glasgow have ‘clearly got the chequebook out again’ when pretty much nobody has said they look the strongest team. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to see them struggle but I reckon Poole look better than most people think, I certainly see them more than a three man team although as ever it depends a lot on Stefan being injury free. Aussies tend not to fail when they come over so I see them right amongst it at the top.
  20. They’re not the kind of riders the scheme should have been for.
