Certainly looks the part so far this year and while it's early days he looks like he could really break through to world class status if he carries on in the same vein and can avoid injuries. Seems to have his feet on the ground too going by his interview. Could be a man in demand next season.

This is certainly a matter of communication rather than a failure to issue refunds, no club should be obliged to do that until the season is officially cancelled and as things stand that isn’t the case despite what various know alls may say on forums and social media. Very possible that a shortened season might take place this year. However it wouldn’t have been hard for the BSPA to come up with a generic response for clubs to reply to enquiries with in relation to season ticket monies and people would feel a bit more informed and valued. Sadly communication and customer care has generally been poor for years as far as British Speedway is concerned. -

Indeed, another excellent display from him this evening, picking off some quality riders from the back. Excited to see what he can achieve tomorrow evening and beyond in the SEC. -
Still rebuilding three years after winning the league?!

Sorry mate, you’ve lost me......I was pointing out that KierStarmerFan just posts things to get a reaction, take no notice of him /her. He/she has been doing it for years under various usernames. -

This. You can’t blame some of the Brits for earning good money from riding in both British leagues, as frustrating as it is that they don’t / won’t try to push on in foreign leagues. Hopefully seeing what Robert and Dan are trying to do in Poland will inspire some of the youngsters coming through to strive to do the same. -

The Madsen / Chugunov race has been put on Facebook in a couple of places and you’ve got people moaning about the track and saying they’ve seen better racing at Lakeside I honestly think some British fans just aren’t prepared to enjoy Polish speedway which is a pity for them. It’s not been brilliant but there has been the odd superb race and enough good ones to make it worth watching. -

I think the key point made is that ‘he generates speed from nowhere’. Zmarzlik usually gathers momentum during his races. I agree with acef, without proof nobody can accuse him directly but what people can see with their own eyes is enough to raise some suspicion and keep an open mind. -

I’ve never been a fan of team riding a lesser rider like that, if it’s my team I’d much rather the heat leader clears off and secured a likely 4-2 than risk a 3-3 trying to get a 5-1. Excellent meeting, easily the most enjoyable so far. So pleasing to see Robert riding like that and really impressed with the spirit and determination Rybnik showed. -
I’ve been a little underwhelmed with Poland so far but acknowledge that it’s early days and that there hasn’t been a meeting in a full stadium yet. It’s been like most other speedway, mostly FTG’s with a few good heats thrown in and an occasional very good heat. Those very good heats are so good because the tracks are fast and the riders are top quality, a high speed good race will always trump one on a small track or with lesser riders such as NL in my opinion because if the skill levels and the extra speed which always makes things look much more spectacular but it is very much each to their own. One thing which has been lacking so far is a close meeting until last night, there have been far too many one sided contests.

So we are outside the transfer window but a team can sign a recently world class rider as a ‘guest’ and use him when and where they like? -
Robert rightly excluded but there is no way on earth it was intentional.....it could have been him cartwheeling down the straight breaking bones and after the season he had with crashes last year he wouldn’t risk that. It was either a misjudgment or a momentary lack of control, I suspect the former.

Not sure why Robert turned left so soon there but Lebedevs had no idea where he was all race (or all night) and never looked round once. Speedy recovery to him. -

Awful luck for Buzz there. Lambert hampered by a slower Lebedevs throughout that one. -
Didn’t realise Reading’s last season was that long ago Went twice and my second visit was that final year. Oystercard had some very fast kit that year and was unbeaten when I went in a draw against Lynn.

I think we have our wires crossed, what I’m saying is that the integrity of the series will be compromised by having all the rounds in one country. And I agree, with the time left and the restrictions in place there can’t really be rounds in multiple countries due to the virus, hence my point about having a ‘World Final’ or leaving it until 2021. Others will disagree which is fine but that’s what I think and believe. -

I have a bit of sympathy with him there to be fair, I’m no fan of riders slowing down in front of others personally but each to their own. Enjoyable meeting with several good races. Looking forward to a non one sided meeting at some point though! -

If they were in different countries yes....but not all in one country. I think that compromises the integrity of the competition. -

Cheers for the sarcasm. Why there? How about a track where none of the GP riders race? I’d rather they didn’t have a World Championship at all at this stage personally. -

But not as well as the Poles. It wouldn’t be acceptable to me if the UK were the only country running speedway and they crowded a five round GP series into the autumn with rounds at Belle Vue, Poole, Lynn, P’boro and Sheffield. The whole essence of the series is rounds in different countries. By all means have a one off meeting in Poland if there is a desperation to have a WC but not a mini series.
