Good old Geoffrey and his Belle Vue bias. -
What did he do in 2004?

I saw Woffinden making plenty of effort, his gating was just too poor and Gorzow were just too quick tonight. Pretty dismal performance by Wroclaw though it has to be said, terrible out of the start. -

Lublin the best team to watch, Laguta and Michelsen are proper racers. Pity the track didn’t have a little more grip. -
Lambert v Jack Holder v other top young riders
Bagpuss replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Holder has been excellent this year for Gorzow but it should be remembered he is a couple of years older than Lambert Which is pretty significant for younger riders IMO (ie 25 and under). Robert was sensational up to winning the SEC including his starting but it seems he has gone off the boil a little since then....maybe the SEC was his main focus and winning it has taken its toll on him mentally. Can’t be easy riding in a poor team every week either. Rather than picking too many bones out of his performance tonight I’d say scoring ten away from home in Poland is pretty good for a young Brit against much more experienced riders. It’s commonplace for good riders to get blown away in the extraliga here and there so I wouldn’t dwell on it too much if I were him. -

Enjoyed those two meetings. Sublime ride by Woffinden to ensure the win at the end there. Sayfutdinov a different gravy once again, surely he has a World Title in him. -
Fisher I think? And Sundstrom at P’boro. orion hit the nail on the head with his post.

Very impressed with Norbert Krakowiak every time I see him ride. Does he have a relative who rode for Ipswich in 1993? -

Of course he might say balls to it and not bother to come on here and keep people informed. -
Some people are ignorant, don’t understand speedway and are unwilling to wait and see. Was blatantly obvious after 2018 that last year was a blip even though he showed up well in some GP’s. His talent is there for all to see now if it wasn’t before.

I’d have thought meetings would be all ticket particularly for seated areas so people would know whether they ha e a seat or not before going.

I for one won’t miss Pedersen, can’t stand him and the way he conducts himself on track. Don’t think he was at fault today but the bellendry afterwards leaves a sour taste. -

Have always liked him, had a good season at Lynn in ‘98 with some wonderful passes. Will have a look to see what I can find from ZG -

Have to agree neither meeting got the juices flowing this evening. Rybnik are just woeful and I can’t remember ever seeing a decent race at ZG. I’m of course glad to have speedway to watch but reserve the right to criticise as well as praise what I see, and unfortunately both matches today were pretty dull. -
Trouble is that’s probably his season over, any further opportunities with Wroclaw have evaporated and even the chance to impress in practice has gone. No U21 events either in what is his last season at that level. You’d like to think that he’ll have learned to be more professional next time.

When will speedway riders ever learn?
-
Easy to remedy, watch it delayed and whizz through the bits between races. I’ve watched speedway that way for years.

Personally I thought Buzz turned back to ride a narrow back straight and caused the clash with Smektala who was minding his own business on the inside but can see why the Lezno man was excluded. Why was Pedersen being a plonker towards Smektala after heat 15?
