Indeed anything can happen, injuries and refereeing howlers for example. If Wolves and / or Lynn do make it then they will have had to be on a roll, it’s all about form at the time.

I hadn’t even looked at the date! -

He seems happiest on Polish circuits so if he is going to score well anywhere it’ll be here. And I am no fan of guests, would rather have our own 1-7 all day long. -

If Porsing, Cook and Lambert are all there we have a great chance, an even better one if Fricke isn’t. Am in Manchester for the weekend so hoping to be there. -

I don’t think you have to look too far past Worrall and especially Bewley riding way, way below what they have achieved in the past. -

Whoever gets through I want to see four full sides, not interested in guests and R/R. -
Lynn really need to be getting something at Belle Vue on Monday, with doubts over three riders it’s all up in the air but it looks like the best chance of away points.

King's Lynn v Peterborugh 19/08/2019

People saving their pennies for Thursday perhaps, plus can’t imagine there were too many P’boro supporters there. The absence of Lambert must have an affect too. -
Was about to post something similar, we have three away meetings left at Belle Vue, Poole and Wolves and need something from those. Not impossible but even with Lambert and Cook not injured/banned unlikely I’d say. Would need a couple of teams to completely implode.

Poole v Swindon. Prem. 19/8/19

Reasonably entertaining meeting, not a classic but not bad. Track looked smoother but still a few lumps and bumps. Would fancy Swindon over two legs against anybody if they all stay fit. -

I hope the Lynn area isn’t getting the biblical rainfall we are getting in this part of the county, some serious thunderstorms about. -

I think I’d recommend to any young sportsman to not be on social media unless they are very thick skinned, just not worth it. -

You’d like to think riders take no notice of what is written on here or social media, its of little consequence the end of the day. -
Fantastic game, I played it for several seasons but haven’t for a while as I have nothing to play it on nowadays. Fantastic playability and fun as well as occasionally making you want to throw your laptop through the nearest window If you are even mildly interested I urge you to download it and have a go.

I agree about Bickley, some riders are slower burners so he shouldn’t be written off but you wouldn’t expect him in his second season to be getting nought anywhere. You just get the feeling he should be doing a bit better than he is.

Considering the relative fortunes of Lynn at home and P’boro away I can’t imagine any team orders will be needed. -

King's Lynn v Wolves 15/08/2019
Bagpuss replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He got a straight fifteen in 2014 (the season we went on a long unbeaten run) amongst other decent scores that season and I remember him top scoring at Rue House a couple of years back on Easter Saturday when we lost there, think he got paid twelve. He’s never going to be world champion but to suggest he has always been rubbish is silly. The evidence is there in the archive of the updates site if people can be bothered to look. -

This. People who say he has always been rubbish have completely forgotten some of the scores he posted in his previous spells. Much better than he is producing now and not at reserve. -
Not impossible but extremely unlikely.
-
As it would be for any other club. I grant you though that big crowds look much better on telly.
-
Not sure why the Play Offs would be better with Poole & Swindon but they are both going to qualify, would put them as joint favourites right now. Ipswich look vulnerable but can’t really see Wolves or Lynn getting on enough of a roll to pop them. Just hope Belle Vue hang on as they have the only proper race track in the league.

He had some pretty good scores at Lynn and the odd one away in his previous spells at the club and some of those were on the top five. He’s much better than current scores suggest so whatever is wrong needs sorting pronto.
