Not for me, I think you have to try and make teams as even as possible on paper. But I certainly agree with using the champion’s team as the benchmark.

If a team can’t run a fixture because the other promotion refuse multiple dates then maybe the fine should be split 50/50.

Weakening the product year on year just hasn’t worked, but at the same time every team has to be as competitive as possible for the league to work, particularly if it is a small one (ie less than ten teams).

Maybe rise above it and be the bigger person? Stay classy. Be better not bitter. Taking delight in another team’s heartbreak is not a good look and makes it worse for the genuine and pleasant Glasgow fans on here who have to read all the tripe.

Absolutely jealousy. Has been there since Glasgow were bought, all very sad. People don’t take joy in another team losing for any other reason, they wouldn’t care either way otherwise.

If it’s a seven team league running on nights where riders will be missing that’s a massive turn off for me personally. A real shame considering what might have been.

A six league team would be ridiculous and unworkable, seven has been bad enough. Eight teams should be the minimum going forward.

Don’t think it does riders any favours to get involved with the crowd, those riders have now put unnecessary scrutiny and pressure on themselves for the second leg. Best to keep ones council until the tie is decided.

If nobody cared then meeting wouldn’t even be taking place especially in the last few days of October. Probably best to concentrate on the riders who are there rather than those who aren’t.

Unfortunately Ipswich were on fire early on in the season and have gradually gone off the boil whereas Swindon have got better with every meeting.....ended up being a mismatch when over the whole season there wasn’t a great deal between the sides.
