  1. Not for me, I think you have to try and make teams as even as possible on paper. But I certainly agree with using the champion’s team as the benchmark.
  2. If a team can’t run a fixture because the other promotion refuse multiple dates then maybe the fine should be split 50/50.
  3. Glad to hear it was s good meeting and went the distance, I was put off by the forecast in the end. The Brits looked professionally turned out in the photos I’ve seen. Anders Rowe will be in demand for 2020 I’m sure.
  4. Luckily it seems we don’t have to worry about Ford and his rule bending in our league next year
  5. Weakening the product year on year just hasn’t worked, but at the same time every team has to be as competitive as possible for the league to work, particularly if it is a small one (ie less than ten teams).
  6. Maybe rise above it and be the bigger person? Stay classy. Be better not bitter. Taking delight in another team’s heartbreak is not a good look and makes it worse for the genuine and pleasant Glasgow fans on here who have to read all the tripe.
  7. Absolutely jealousy. Has been there since Glasgow were bought, all very sad. People don’t take joy in another team losing for any other reason, they wouldn’t care either way otherwise.
  8. Well done to Leicester, always good to see the team who finished top ending up as champions. Also well done to Glasgow fans for their dignity in defeat and not biting to any of the garbage posted on the thread by people whose teams were nowhere near the final, seems that jealousy will never go away.
  9. I’m sure they are perfectly capable of picking a team without you sticking your nose in. Welcome back to the top flight Sheffield.
  10. If it’s a seven team league running on nights where riders will be missing that’s a massive turn off for me personally. A real shame considering what might have been.
  11. Indeed but if he is getting paid enough by Wroclaw to just ride team speedway once a week then good for him. Fantastic that his kids will see plenty of him growing up.
  12. Admission prices for Wednesday are £18 adults, £16 concessions, 16/17 years £5, Under 16s free.
  13. A six league team would be ridiculous and unworkable, seven has been bad enough. Eight teams should be the minimum going forward.
  14. Don’t think it does riders any favours to get involved with the crowd, those riders have now put unnecessary scrutiny and pressure on themselves for the second leg. Best to keep ones council until the tie is decided.
  15. Amazing the number of people saying what will or won’t happen to Kent and Berwick without having any idea of what’s is going on behind the scenes. Also how is it the right of CVS to spill these particular beans?
  16. Only remember as Lynn won the treble and it was Mildy’s first season back in the second division, went to nearly all of their home meetings that year.
  17. I’m presuming the question means over the whole season and not just in the odd meeting......therefore: Rasmus Jensen Charles Wright Anders Rowe Nicolai Klindt Ellis Perks
  18. 2006 Paul. I remember that season very well
  19. To be fair I didn’t mean to include the link in my copy and paste, I’m blaming fat fingers The teams came from the thread in the International section incidentally.
  20. If nobody cared then meeting wouldn’t even be taking place especially in the last few days of October. Probably best to concentrate on the riders who are there rather than those who aren’t.
  21. For the benefit of waytogo28 GB: Craig Cook Lewis Kerr Adam Ellis Dan Bewley Charles Wright Drew Kemp Anders Rowe Denmark: Niels-Kristian Iversen Kasper Andersen Mikkel Bech Jensen Rasmus Jensen Hans Andersen Matias Nielsen Benjamin Basso http://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.37610
  22. Unfortunately Ipswich were on fire early on in the season and have gradually gone off the boil whereas Swindon have got better with every meeting.....ended up being a mismatch when over the whole season there wasn’t a great deal between the sides.
