  1. Quite right GRW, nothing can be taken for granted, you can only go on what has happened already this season as a guide. We have won twice in Manchester (admittedly once against a weakened side) and been clattered twice in Dorset and along with the problems that Somerset have caused Poole in their meetings I think there is only one choice Lynn can make IF we finish top.
  2. Having performed well there twice already this season we should be looking for a win really, but having clattered Belle Vue last time out Leicester can’t be taken lightly. Will depend on gating of course.
  3. You will if we are without Iversen & MPT. Will be there if the Danes are and the weather forecast isn’t dodgy.
  4. I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he didn’t read beyond the regional league bit before posting
  5. Couldn’t disagree more, we meet Poole at any stage and we are out. Need them to lose in the semi and only Somerset can do that.
  6. I’d have thought it would be in Poole’s interests to avoid Somerset in the semis.
  7. Can’t see anything wrong there at all. Very odd. Have these two got history?
  8. We need to hear the Lynn side of the story but IF they have been offered every Monday and Wednesday and won’t come then tough luck, Somerset should get the three points. Had thought the same as the above poster, Mr Chapman leaves that kind of thing to his co promoters so he has probably had very little to do with it.
  9. I think that would be the only choice if we finish top....we need Poole out before the final for us to win and Somerset are the best equipped team to do that. That leaves us with Belle Vue who are the form team but have a fantastic track that we ride well. If Poole get past Somerset they win IMO, simple as that. Neither Lynn or Belle Vue will be good enough to go down there and keep it close enough.
  10. While you could well be right I’d suggest that one match at home and one away probably doesn’t offer enough evidence either way. Would be great if Sheffield saw enough in Kasper to have him back next year.
  11. So it’s gone from Somerset’s to lose to no clear favourite on no time at all. Make your mind up
  12. If Lynn are forced to go there with riders missing then so be it, that would be preferable to the match not being ridden. Less than ideal but more credible at least.
  13. Why can Doyle not ride 48 hours before a GP?
  14. We drew there earlier in the season and won there last year, it’s our kind of track and somewhere we shouldn’t be scared of going. We also have the top end power to challenge Doyle so no reason why we couldn’t go there and win - best away record in the league don’t forget. One would assume Somerset are offering dates when our Danes are in Denmark.
  15. But do we know the full facts? Maybe Lynn have offered to come on dates that don’t suit Somerset meaning both clubs are preventing the fixture happening.
  16. His is by far Lynn’a best chance....finish top and let Somerset sort out Poole in the other semi. We can beat the Rebels and Aces over two legs if everybody rides to their potential but can’t see us getting near Poole over two legs unfortunately. So we need to avoid going to Wimborne Road. The two clubs need to be sat down by the SCB and a date thrashed out. The meeting has to go ahead, too important not to.
  17. Decent crowd and some good races by the sound of it and six points, a positive evening all round. Hope MPT is ok.
  18. With all due respect who was going to beat Morley or Bowtell?
  19. I’m sure I didn’t imagine Holder going round somebody in heat 15.
