Nail on head. I certainly wouldn't argue against reserves all being Brits. Josh Auty's top league average is 4.68 so it's not too high. Howarth started the season on 6.64 so the two can't be compared as first division riders. I just don't think promoters feel that Auty can be relied upon to be consistent.

It's not inconceivable that the 'half term offer' worked.....just because it doesn't work out any cheaper that doesn't mean that presenting the information in a different way hasn't encouraged a few more people to go. Easy to forget how young and inexperienced he is, riders who have been round the block many more times than him find Arena difficult. If he does turn out to ne just a 'throttle jockey' then great, that' what he will need to be to succeed in Poland, Sweden and the GP's. Given the choice its far better to be good on the big tracks than the small ones.

If it's a choice between Kasper, Josh or Wilko I'd rather we stick with Andersen and try to develop him and help him improve. As with most riders who are struggling he just isn't gating well enough, if somebody can do some work with him to improve that he'll be far more competitive. There may come a time this year where he need to be stood down but it' far too early for that now IMO.

I think it's too early to be throwing riders out, especially younger ones who have been brought in for the future. Out of interest who could come in on a similar average and be a marked improvement?

That said we had the meeting sewn up for a couple of laps of heat fourteen before Lewi's uncharacteristic fall but that's speedway. Thought the racing was good, one or two strung out heats but plenty of good tussles and close finishes.

I always try and post without Stars specs on and I can honestly say if this were Brady Kurtz having to have a fortnight off I wouldn't want Poole to go without a facility. He is missing Swedish matches and the whole of SoN not just the UK and we are hardly strengthened by his absence. Indeed but petty jibes when they don't win are unnecessary. It's good that a promotion are willing and able to invest in a club to improve it and its stadium for the paying customer. Harris, Starke and Sarjeant have been very disappointing and should be doing better.

Magic turned back into Emil for me, pretty clear cut. Thought Freddie was ruthless but not dirty for me, Tai was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Haven't seen any evidence at all of moaning and groaning from him, Pearson was gobbling off about Woffinden not being happy and waiting for Freddie etc but he seems to have taken it on the chin. Other than that it was a poor, poor GP.
