The problem is that the rule could well achieve the opposite as they have reassessed GP riders who were under 8 and failed to do so with a few ringers who didn't ride over here last year. So in effect you are going to have two or three standout teams anyway. My enthusiasm for going to speedway has diminished over the last two or three years and if the season started tomorrow I don't think I would go at all due to the daft rules and restrictions. Let's see how I feel in March. At least they should have sorted the double up clashes I suppose.

Popular speedway misconception. Decent riders (which Fricke certainly is) will always adapt and learn a track if they ride it every week.

In that case don't reassess Pawlicki, Kildemand, Zagar etc. Do them all or none. The Holder idea is daft as he rode here last year. And I don't think he was average fiddling before anyone mentions it, he was just gash as his GP scores showed.

Ridiculous that only GP riders are being reassessed. It's like saying they are the only ones who have improved on the continent since they last rode here which is nonsense.

The Grajczonek situation was ridiculous seeing as Somerset had so many Fridays without a home match. Some of the fixture arrangements were done without common sense, or perhaps when those responsible were half cut.

And there it is. Can tick that one off my BSF bingo card, we get it every winter. People don't care who would be signing the ringers, they shouldn't exist. All we want is a level playing field for all.

Why just GP riders? Should be anybody who has missed seasons here and therefore earned their British average during a harder season and who has progressed on the continent in the meantime. As I said, do them all or none at all. Can't have a situation where there are bargains to be had while others are forced out by high averages.

Whoever it is surely their average will be reassessed if that's what is happening with people like Zagar etc? They either need to reassess everyone who has ridden over here in the past based on their performances across Europe or leave all the averages alone.

Don't really get what people are saying about Glasgow, they have to adhere to the same points limit as anyone else. But of a defeatist attitude to be conceding the title to them already! And they have to be praised for going British.
