One of those seven must be wrong as we can't possibly be going in to the season a couple of points below the limit.

Yes but they have nothing to do with this thread do they? -

Yep seems to get weaker each year. -
Anyone can have one good meeting in isolation Sidney. His averages having been around for for over a decade tell their own story. Would be very disappointed if he is named in Lynn's 1-7.
-
In that case Manzares out and a six ish pointer in putting Kerr at reserve.
-
Never said that side would be 'good enough', just refuting your claim that it would be 'mighty weak' as it wouldn't be with Iversen as a top drawer number one and a talent like Lebedevs having seven rides from reserve. Average and mid table perhaps, but not mighty weak. As for Auty, he may well give 100% but he is never going to improve and is as unreliable and inconsistent as a speedway rider could be. Apart from overriding and coming a cropper, which you can rely on him to do regularly.
-
Yep Pedersen at the wrong end of his career and will have had the best part of a year out injured, would be a massive risk. No thank you.
-
No team with Iversen at one and Lebedevs at reserve would be 'mighty weak' Sidney. Maybe Auty at seven would make all the difference for you
-
I reckon Jorgensen (long since signed of course) Kerr, Rose, Lambert and the new Dane are in and the debate is who the other two are. Iversen and Manzares are the names bandied about most but I'm thinking that seven would be under the limit? And lack a third heat leader.

Plenty of the predictable annual defensiveness when people don't rate a team get a grip people, it's a discussion forum. Almost any of these riders could end up as number one, hopefully it'll be Bewley. Early on there looks like few race winners away from home but solid outfit nonetheless.

I think somewhere like Poole which is so holidaymaker-rich in the summer months can only benefit from some kind of speedway presence in the town centre. Whether a coffee shop is the best idea I'm not sure but in essence it's a good concept.

Neither should get stick, people have a choice of either getting involved or not, moaning about it shouldn't need to be an option. Good luck to Cook for 2018. And Bomber for that matter.

Doesn't look too bad to me, and most importantly contains five young lads.

SGB Premiership Confirmed signings 2018.

If that is the case it pretty much sums up everything that is wrong with British speedway. -
What a silly and ill-informed post.
-
Don't get me wrong, he has done plenty of good for speedway over the years but every time he is quoted anywhere it's whinging.

Pratt IS a moaning dinosaur, always has been.

Because the whole average situation this year is farcical and the people who run the sport in the UK are unable to distinguish between their bumholes and their earholes?
-
Absolutely no surprise that a change of dirt resulted in better racing. Along with the two bad attitudes being removed from the team. The heavy, stock car friendly shale has resulted in poor racing for a few years now. No outside line, the following riders being slowed down by the heavy spray from the leaders back wheel. Hopefully the penny has dropped.

This team will clock up lots of home wins.

This seems to be a convenient bandwagon for people to jump on but as somebody who attends Lynn meetings reasonably regularly I've never seen any evidence of this on a race night, i.e. no strutting around the pits or big ego etc. People will probably point out his mother or the argument he had with a fan during the Poole meeting both of which don't do him much good but I think people go over the top with their criticism and it's almost like people would rather give him a kicking than give him the benefit of the doubt because he is British and has talent. As a teenage sportsman he's not going to get everything right and learns as he goes along but he's not half as bad as people like to make out. You want him to have self belief but there is a fine line between that an arrogance. Generally speaking I think he stays on the right side of that.
-
I'll be staggered if he isn't in Lynn's side. I think fan interaction is a positive thing but I think sometimes he could be more professional in what he writes.
-
I expect they are referring to the 'another one gone by the wayside' bit.

I think people worry far too much.......by all means have a whinge if the named 1-7 looks poor but don't see the point in whittling over speculation.
