  1. He didn't say it was all Maud's fault, he blamed CVS too As conspiracy theories go that's a good un.
  2. The lateness of the decision appears to be because of the extra dates for which the two dropped riders wouldn't be available only just coming to light.
  3. Is it really any wonder you get the kind of replies that you do from some people? So rude.
  4. Great moves by Leicester to replace a rider who was never going to be there and an extremely inconsistent one with two Brits who will score well. Granted there will be fixture clashes but should mostly be able to get decent guests.
  5. You'd imagine that would be he mindset of any rider who rides over here and in Poland. I guess it's up to the team manager to motivate that rider, and surely once the helmet goes on and the tapes rise racing instinct kicks in. The much lower level of opposition for riders like Holder and Doyle allows them to take it a little easier in most heats over here too.
  6. Moot anyway as they have signed for Leicester.
  7. That puts a different complexion on the Lions team.
  8. Precisely, people wanting Holder and Bailey replacing don't seem to realise just how many matches King and Bates would miss. Any rider absences do my head in but one or two by Holder as opposed to dozens from King & Bates is a no brainer how ever galling the Polish willy waving is.
  9. And because of the Polish nonsense Holder is tied up in.
  10. Winning things comes a distant second to developing riders for the first team for me, but the team needs to be reasonably competitive. That team is going to get soled away from home
  11. While likely to be decent at home Somerset look a long, long way off a Play Off spot without changes.
  12. I'd certainly not be against both reserves having to take four rides as it would make it more of a team effort. Reserves shouldn't be able to be swapped either otherwise the poor number seven would get the three hardest rides after heat two. This rule should have been in place for the draft system without doubt. Only trouble would be teams abusing the rule with convenient 'injuries'.
  13. Doubt he will be by the end of the season but to begin with experience alone should make him the strongest. Anyway you know what the BSF is like for knee jerk reactions and people judging riders and line ups too soon
  14. I think Shanes may suffer from having no other regular racing. Very odd that he doesn't have a CL and / or NL place. Compare that to Bailey and Smith who will be racing for three teams and may develop faster as a result, although of course burn out is also a risk. Graversen ought to make hay initially although having had a year out won't help.
  15. Not sure Brun is a small track but he certainly is good enough. *Brum
  16. Never mind P&P, it's the first fixture Wednesday
  17. Insufficient turnstiles really isn't good enough for a sport which is trying desperately to attract and keep customers. Great to see so many Coventry fans turn out for their team, they are one of the biggest clubs we have and fingers crossed they return to to league racing very soon. Hope we have them at Lynn this year for a challenge match.
  18. When is the lad Jenkins at Mildenhall 16? Have heard a rumour that it might be him.
  19. Would be good to have someone fresh alongside Tatum.
  20. I have no problem with Woffinden not riding in the EL at all, it's his perogative and the lighter schedule has worked for him at World Championship level. But he should be riding in the British Championshipd British Championships and for Team GB, no excuses.
