King's Lynn V Rye House 14th April 7.30
Bagpuss replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Perhaps but the weather looks a bit dodgy for later. Don't fancy standing in drizzle or not seeing fifteen heats. Late decision. -
We might have a better idea of his abilities once you've raced a decent side. Looks ok so far though, obviously having Stelo on the spanners is a good thing 😁 Rose has started like a house on fire whereas Clegg has been dreadful. Early days though.

This could get messy. Should be Bridgers kind of track at least. -
King's Lynn V Rye House 14th April 7.30
Bagpuss replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not really, as long as you win the meeting that's all that really matters at this stage. It's all about running into top form in September, as we discovered three years ago breaking records early in the season counts for little. Aim to win at home and pick up losing points away and you finish top four, anything else is a bonus. -
NATIONAL League racing returns to The Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday as the King's Lynn Young Stars host reigning champions Birmingham (7.30). The Young Stars will be looking for an improved performance on home shale after suffering a 61-29 defeat against Cradley on opening night. Young Stars team manager, and temporary squad member, Scott Campos believes his side will be more relaxed at a venue they're used to and is anticipating an entertaining fixture against the Midlands outfit. "Birmingham are a big club in this league and have won the title the last two years running," Campos said. "Theyre looking a strong side once again this year and its going to be another tough test for the team. "However, I think were in for some cracking racing and as long as the boys give it all their effort and enjoy it, then we cant ask for much more than that can we?" KINGS LYNN: Josh Bailey, Lewis Whitmore R/R, Ryan Kinsley, Scott Campos, Danny Phillips, Connor Locke, Taylor Hampshire. BIRMINGHAM: Tom Bacon, Chris Hay R/R, Darryl Ritchings, Jack Parkinson-Blackburn, Danyon Hume, Macauley Leek, Layne Cupitt.

He's a Lynn asset so should be riding for us. -
Time To Make A Switch Before New Averages....

Apart from Matt Williamson there isn't really anyone any better than Josh on paper out there who fits. For me being below the points limit matters little as long as you have sufficient improvement in the 1-7. -

Bailey is a home grown club asset, I don't see Lynn replacing him so early in the season and nor should they. In any case Hume rides for Brum on Wednesdays. -
Not like Rosco to moan.

Looking forward to this if the weather is set fair, not been since the 2013 NLRC. -

Totally negated by Graversen for Bates. Think this will be close, would have said Poole win before last night's collapse. -

The first of many comfortable home wins for Edinburgh this season. Good to see young Josh scoring some points. -
Indeed. Rye home and away next weekend will give us a much better idea of Lynn's credentials.
