Not for Lynn he didn't, his meetings were at number five. I don't think I'm overrating him, just saying that he should be capable of averaging what the likes of Bates, Ellis, Robson, Riss, Garrity, J Holder, Palm Toft, Barker and Sedgemen did last year.

I believe he could average 5.5 - 6 if he starts at reserve and has an injury free season. Never going to be a heat leader or world beater any more but it's certainly not beyond him to be a half decent second string. We saw enough glimpses of that last year in between the many poor rides.

I'm sure if we could afford him we would.

A like Erik Riss a lot, he would be an excellent signing.

The fact remains you can only compare them by what they have done head to head.....if Woryna was that much better he would have finished way ahead of Lambert in the World U21 standings. He didn't. Woryna is Polish therefore gets opportunities in the Extraliga, and of course gets rocketship bikes the best of their U21's do. Despite that he only finished six points ahead of Lambert in the world championships. It shows there isn't a lot between them at the moment.

Easy to say that Woryna is a 'considerable' margin ahead of Lambert but the only measure you can really use is the world under 21 standings which put Woryna slightly ahead with a six point margin. Until they both compete in the same league across a whole season that's the only barometer really which equates to two points per round.

Depends if the sweeping changes at the club are actually that, if there is plenty to be revealed on that front then I'd suggest it won't be a waste of time. Funnily enough I had a conversation earlier today about how it might well be obvious by then who the last two riders are going to be, hopefully though they will be two nice surprises.

No no no to Auty, never going to improve and not reliable in the slightest even though he will have the odd good meeting and be entertaining. Don't think Gino will ever be world champion but at least there is a chance he will get better. If he was number seven he looks better than anything else named or touted so far.

Quite possible that his user name has reverted back to its original guise when the forum was revamped as mine did. And it doesn't appear to be possible to change it back!

I'm not convinced people take too much notice of that kind of stuff until names are released, I'm sure we've heard a lot of it before and it's not always come to pass. I do acknowledge however that a little more meat could have been put on the bones. Personally I'm happy to be patient until names are revealed in January, although I appreciate others want to know everything yesterday which I've never quite understood.

I think the winter has shown that in terms of communication the club can't keep everybody happy.......people moaned when nothing was said for ages and now people are moaning because there have been several bits of communication about what is going to happen in January.

Typical and predictable blinkered speedway fan response. I have no 'seethe' towards Edinburgh, best of luck to them and you. But these types of ringers are damaging speedway.

Best wishes to starman! We all like to get stuck in on this forum and sometimes into each other but at the end of the day we are all people with personalities, with families and unfortunately problems like these occasionally. Sometimes it takes something like this to remember that.

Without fair and proper rules and therefore a level playing field the competition is pretty pointless. And unfortunately that is the situation speedway finds itself in today. Some people can ignore all the political garbage and unfair averages and just enjoy the racing, and I feel a little bit jealous of those people. Some of us just can't and the whole thing is tainted by the ineptitude of the governing body and how some teams seem to be able to find loopholes and ringers year after year. Unfortunately many people of that mindset end up walking away.

He shouldn't come in to the Prem on a 4 anyway!
