Speedway Champions League ?
Bagpuss replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
I think R/R and at least one guest should be in Poole's line up somewhere to truly reflect the state of British speedway currently. -

Looking at Twitter it seems he's been declared unfit by the Danish doctor but doesn't agree with the verdict! -

Why no Porsing? -
I'm sure they have improved from the first race to the last in most matches but from meeting to meeting is where we should be seeing the real improvement. Hopefully the scores don't reflect the progress some of these lads are making and it would be nice if the same seven can come to the tapes next year and start to get a bit closer to teams and perhaps win some matches.

The Future Of The Elite League

Absolutely confident. The PL & EL use many of the same riders, doesn't mean either is propping the other up. -
The Future Of The Elite League
Bagpuss replied to SarahLapworth's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The idea that the PL props up the EL but not vice versa is daft - there are umpteen riders who are on loan to PL clubs from EL clubs for a start, plus several who are really EL riders but use the PL to top up their earnings ie Cook, Barker, King, Stead, Lawson, Josh G, Morris, Klindt, Worrall etc. If riders were made to choose one league or the other I bet the PL would be the one to suffer. That's not to say the EL doesn't have its problems because it of course has many. -

Good GP, glad the final wasn't won from the gate. Not Puk's day but good to see Kenneth back in the thick of it. -
I bet they wouldn't.

Great result for Ipswich with the number one not turning up. Imagine how well they'd be doing if he'd kicked on as we all expected. -

Peterborough Panthers 2014

Second year in the PL as you very well know. The best way to solve the problem would be to not allow a foreigner's average to drop below the assessed figure he comes in on. -

Fair enough, and apologies for sticking my nose in in that case. -

A little unecessary. Emma is a reasonably regular contributor to your clubs coffers as far as I'm aware. -

While it was a great ride by Kurtz the two Monarchs made the job easier for him by keeping down low on the last lap. -
Perhaps I'm a little biased but I'd suggest paid seven for Rose away from home in the top five is a pretty decent performance.
