That's a fantastic against the odds win for Berwick. -

Great result for Ipswich with the number one not turning up. Imagine how well they'd be doing if he'd kicked on as we all expected. -

Why Robson and not Kerr in heat 15? -

Second year in the PL as you very well know. The best way to solve the problem would be to not allow a foreigner's average to drop below the assessed figure he comes in on. -

Fair enough, and apologies for sticking my nose in in that case. -

A little unecessary. Emma is a reasonably regular contributor to your clubs coffers as far as I'm aware. -
Somerset Cases Rebels V Edinbourgh 13/8/14

While it was a great ride by Kurtz the two Monarchs made the job easier for him by keeping down low on the last lap. -
Perhaps I'm a little biased but I'd suggest paid seven for Rose away from home in the top five is a pretty decent performance.

While I'd expect them to clean up at Berwick the other two matches may not prove quire so fruitful, some of Somerset's away performances haven't been great this year. -
Berwick Vs Edinburgh 12/8 Live On Sky
Bagpuss replied to bigeddiechek's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Having witnessed a rider lose his love in a very similar accident is one where he was thrown over the fence like a ragdoll I'm delighted to read that Matty Wethers is OK. Made my stomach churn seeing the crash. As for the Berwick track, it is what it is. The football pitch means narrow straights and therefore tight entries and exits to the bends. Its been that way for years and probably won't change. -

Don't see how Berwick can possibly replace those three riders adequately on their averages around their home track. Should be a comfortable four points for Somerset. -

Absolutely Swedish tonight, better standard of rider on a better track.

My verdict? The SEC ladies are much fitter than the Monster girls. -
Rye House V Somerset 8th August
Bagpuss replied to Dave Stummings's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think there is more to it than that, an 8-1 usually has a psychological effect on both teams and often represents a big shift in momentum of the meeting. It certainly shouldn't ever be available to a home side IMO. -

Wasn't it Mr Silver who came up with the TR? I'm no fan of it personally BUT it can't be denied that it makes some meetings more interesting. -

World Cup Final 2nd August 2014

Bridger? In what way? Milik isn't 16 and in his first year of racing. Robert may or may not become WC but its impossible to say he won't. How he is managed over the next five or six years is critical. -
I'm not a great fan of booing any rider really, especially in the NL.

A Cradley fan moaning about other supporters giving a rider grief, really?

How on earth can you say that when he is sixteen? I believe he set the fastest time of the meeting at Poole the other week, he has the speed already......just needs to gather some experience and better gating and he can achieve whatever he wants to IMO.
