  1. But probably not if Rosen was fit, just for a bit of balance.
  2. Think that particular meeting was Good Friday 2000, Gollob went round Adams and Crump to secure a draw and we won 50-40 in the evening.
  3. Unlucky Adam, great experience though no doubt. Well done Niklas!
  4. So pointless that you've commented on it though. We weren't much liked in our PL days, mainly due I think to our often enormous home wins (don't miss those) and JC getting on people's wicks. Used to enjoy the rivalry with Rye House and all the Lynn fans congregating in the first bend at Hoddesdon.
  5. Best track - Peterborough with an honourable mention for Trelawny. Worst track - Eastbourne, just too narrow and tight. Eurgh. Best food - Mildenhall fish & chips. Not been for several years but they were always top notch. Worst food - Stoke without a doubt Best facilities etc. - Probably Brum for amenities but for viewing I always loved the back straight at Newport. Odsal was of course awesome viewing. Worst - Lakeside before they allowed people on the back straight of the stock car track. Numerous crap facilities in the sport, worst view now probably Brum.
  6. It should be about finding some middle ground for the good of the NL as a competition. Cradley are too strong and Scunny too weak, there has to be a compromise.
  7. In his, ours and their interests for him to get it sorted ASAP I'd have thought. Would imagine he'll be at the NA most of tomorrow getting things ironed out.
  8. Never mind before the next Newcastle meeting, he needs to sort it before tomorrow night!
  9. Poor prep or bad luck? Lewis usually has immaculate kit so I'd say its the latter, and the fact it's happened thrice suggests that it's an issue they can't get to the bottom of. Lewis Rose excellent again tonight considering his inexperience. Brilliant race there in heat 13, EoES is the best track in the UK for me when it's well prepared like this evening.
  10. Its a good, open, honest and balanced piece by Puk. Good for him.
  11. Never said I was a know all, just giving an opinion on a speedway forum about a speedway team if that's OK with you! Plymouth have performed pretty well since my comment so well done to them, but I'll still be surprised if they aren't in the lower reaches of the PL come Sept/Oct.
  12. Wow, that didn't look likely early on! Well done to the Storm.
  13. Why no Douglas in heat 15? Well done to the Diamonds for fighting back and having their point.
  14. Panthers really seem to be getting into their stride now. Witches obviously missed their EL men but that engine room pairing must be a concern.
  15. I stayed to watch a couple of the heats and was surprised at how many did the same, seemed quite a few more than usual.
  16. I know, how very dare King's Lynn have priority of their own assets over the club they are loaning them to. Shocking.
  17. Newman will excel as a draft rider as he is vastly experienced compared to many of them......its probably only because he still has a modest PL average that he is in the draft at all.
  18. I think this is going to be a fallow year for the Young Stars after finishing last season with five youngsters in the side.....there are really just three this year with four experienced NL lads who almost certainly won't go any further. Like screamer I probably won't be paying to watch them too often but next year will probably be different again with one or two younger prospects unearthed. I'd like to see Darren Mallett along with six lads who are on the up, with two rookie reserves every year but that isn't always possible. Would be nice to think that out could happen in the future though.
  19. As others have said on this subject on other threads, there has to be middle ground found in a league where teams have different agendas. Scunny are too weak and Cradley too strong, a balance is needed for the good of everyone. Anyway today is all about Sam Chapman so well done to him. No doubt the Heathens have their eye on him for next year.....
  20. Will say the same about Morris as I have about Newman on a Plymouth thread, it's about time he was scoring decent points in the PL if he is ever going to be any good. One would have thought Armadale would be his cup of tea. In contrast great to see Stevie Worrall starting the season so well.
