  1. Would be good to see the Klindt/King incident as the two non Ipswich fans who have commented on it have suggested that it might not be the open and shut case we have been led to believe. Klindt isn't the type of ruder to fence people but also King doesn't tend to go for gaps which aren't there.
  2. Bailey should have been there. Hopefully Boughen explodes onto the scene as expected, we've got Luke Harrison and Ace Pjiper at 16 too, need to be getting them over in Poland ASAP , the next couple of seasons for them are crucial. Other than that it's slim pickings.
  3. In my experience what riders think is a good track and what supporters do can differ greatly.
  4. I suspect there is far more going on behind the scenes than we will ever be privy to.
  5. On a positive note I think Klindt deserves a lot of credit for his performances this season in an awful team, after a slow start and since taking on the captaincy he's been excellent and is rider of the year by a mile and not just because he's the last man standing from the start of the season As for Artem, he's been a massive disappointment and doesn't seem to have the right attitude for racing over here. I'm sure there are various other factors but if you don't give 100% you aren't going to succeed.
  6. At least none of the guests are with teams involved at the top of the table.
  7. There will be plenty like you unfortunately. The club needs a complete reset; a new promoter, new team, new track surface, the lot. Whether that will happen remains to be seen but I have my doubts.
  8. Hmmmm not sure Oxford are a 'two man team' whe Kerr is also averaging over eight. Bit disrespectful to Jenkins too. Couldn't see anyone doing Poole over two legs but perhaps Oxford can when it really matters.
  9. I expect the surface at P'boro is like nothing he has ever experienced before, the kid has talent so after a meeting to settle in and sort his set up you'd expect t him to be better, maybe not to the tune of a dozen points though!
  10. He's dropped one point away from home in a match which you only won by four points.....I think he deserves a lot of credit.
  11. My God TV meeting threads are full of moaning and groaning. Certainly nowhere near the best NSS meeting you've seen due to the grippiness/recent rain but those last few heats were excellent. Still comfortably the best track in the UK if not the world.
  12. In fairness I think the A17 eventually drains away your will to live.
  13. So Buster hasn't received an offer for the club.
  14. Of course it is, everybody should know that by now.
  15. But everything to do with guests from rival teams. The discussion has developed.
  16. Indeed. And riders don't decide when to get injured, it just happens. Signing riders to replace the long term injured is the best way to fill the hole.
  17. I wonder if part of the reason its so well attended and paid is because its so professionally run? Speedway in the UK has got worse and worse over the last two decades so I wonder if its linked to guests, doubling up, etc? I know people who don't go any more because they can't identify with their club as most of the riders race elsewhere in the UK as well. I'd disagree about it llbeing down the lost, its just as important as many other issues such as fixtures, tracks, admission fees etc.
  18. But there wasn't a vacancy until the Play Offs, and there wouldn't have been one at all had Fricke not got injured in Poland! It was a situation which only came about because of his crash. It wasn't a move to try and make BV stronger for the Play Offs.
  19. Cheers for that personally I'd call it constructve discussion. While I appreciate the points you make, for me the integrity of the competition trumps all of that. The Polish Extraliga is the best competition in terms of attendance and the way its run and when riders are injured they use R/R or a junior, no ifs or buts. No borrowing from a rival. Half the trouble with speedway in this country is that its run to appease the riders not the paying customers. Until that changes and the punter is put first and looked after much better the downward spiral will continue.
  20. Put him on ignore if you're that bothered. He speaks more sense than the vast majority on here though, and can actually see the issues we have in the UK rather than burying his head in the sand.
  21. Why is it wrong? He wasn't brought in to strengthen them, but to replace an injured rider. Wouldn't have been signed otherwise. Far more preferable than borrowing a rider from another club.
  22. You'll have to explain to me @foreverblue why my reply was funny. It even went to court and was decided upon by an independant judge, which shows that the BSPL are so incompetent that they don't even know their own rules.
  23. If its a signing replacing an injured rider who is out for the season then absolutely. You are obviously referring to Lambert last year, he wouldn't have been signed had Fricke not had his awful crash in Poland. Better than guests!
