It's a bit rich blaming the Aussies when our own British world champion continues to shaft British speedway after we "trained him" and even bent the rules keeping him at reserve in his first NL season

that's what the PZN is trying to do , you sign a contract and you honour that contract but if your riding elsewhere and miss.a match your not honouring the contract , as I said the PZN is doing nothing wrong they are just looking out for their product and fans , the only downside is for us in Britain but we are not their problem, if British speedway was king and we imposed this we wouldn't care less what the poles thought , because they are tough about things like this they don't get top matches where a team consists of 5 guests and R/R which had happened here a couple of times here last season and wasn't because of injury

they are trying to pay wage instead of points like football and they don't want riders to miss matches or even team practice ,that's what they are trying to protect , poland money issues are caused by where the money goes out not where it comes in like Britain, the money some of the stars in Poland get is staggering and that's even before they have turned a wheel , how would you feel if you were a promotors or a sponsor and you paid half a million over 2 year contract to a rider and then he missed a match to ride for someone else

I agree with all that , there is one name in particular I could think of who we trained up , bent the rules to keep him at reserve in his first year and then he went on to be a star and then all but shafted British speedway and he is british

I do love polish speedway cause as a product it is bang on , yes it has financial issues but that is not caused by a lack of fans or sponsors , they have both in large amounts and the PZN is doing what it felt is necercary to protect its product but my heart will always be in British speedway and god knows I've tried to put ideas forward and given my time to help ,as I've said the polish product (excluding finance ) is something we need to look up to and if you think about it all they are trying to achieve is what every other sports team in the world is doing already ,1 person 1 club is that such a bad thing ?

Poland are not doing anything wrong with this , the only wrong part is it is to the detriment of british speedway , the poles are protecting the future of polish speedway and its fans ,if the boot was on the other foot we would all be praising the bspa, we however don't prioritize our own riders and even with the Coventry situation the fact that a brit hasn't a team place and some foreigners have 2 is shambolic

Had another look in blunsdon today , nothing happening , also had a look round the new estate the back of the current home straight , some of those houses are no more than 200 metres from the big mounds of dirt that are on the edge of the carpark and the plans show that's the place where one bend is supposed to be . If this stadium gets built it's going to give new meaning to the phrase" armchair fans "

in your honest opinion is go speed good for British speedway in terms of media or do they hold the sport back?

they have spoken ,well Natalie has , the British final is the first meeting to be shown on June 19th

not saying your wrong about the bspa but what does come across is your bitterness towards them , your fall out with them must of been pretty bad

has Eastbourne already not been sold to build a hotel and has this season and next then it's gone

i said a similar sort of thing on my Facebook page a few weeks ago along with other ideas /thoughts etc , I got told I was being negative and I was seeing the sport through rose tinted glasses and that was the past etc ,on another thought I had about if teams or riders should pay for mechanics I got shot down well and truly by one of today's stars , I beginning to think it's a lost cause

So what is the delay ?clearly there is nothing happening or even signs that work is about to start so there obviously a reason for the lack of work , has the planning been rejected or some other reason , either some sign of work or some answers are needed and soon

I have my doubts the new stadium will ever see the light of day but if it just a delay and it will be built at some point why don't they just say and be honest with people , it's now march and nothing has been done except a wall of which that could be a wall to a housing estate , I feel so sorry for the fans of Swindon speedway , that not knowing if your team has a new track or even a future or not , the growth of the houses around the track is a major worry also ,if they came out and said the track isn't being built they would be subject to all sorts of pressure and obstacles , keeping quiet means nobody can object or start campaigns until it is too late because the new residents will have a voice and the government will back them

polish tv do a highlights show on a sunday night after the 2 matches shown live showing about 5 heats from all the extraleague matches that day and have a couple of guests in the studio each week and they also put a couple of features about riders or tracks or subjects within the sport and it works very well , its well presented is a must watch even if you don't have a clue what they are saying except if an English speaking rider is on it but and to me it is a but the polish tv company is very good a capturing what an exciting sport speedway can be ,they seem to know where to put camera's to get the best shot etc and imo that's what sky or bt or whoever should be looking to if they put a highlights programme together ,if something happens in polish match the camera and the comentators are on it , they rarely miss a trick ,yet in british tv meetings I find myself screaming at the tv because something happens and its either missed or glossed over

Hi, Can anyone help me out with details of the fixtures that did't happen due to the closure of Skegness in either or both of the above seasons ? I know that in '97 the fixtures were taken over by the Isle of Wight and in '98 by King's Lynn (as the Norfolk Braves) but what I'm after is details of the fixtures that Skegness (as Skegness) didn't fulfill. Many thanks I was in the last fixture in 97 at Skegness ,it was Skegness v long Eaton , we got there unloaded bikes in pits and then there was a massive thunderstorm and the place was flooded about an hour before the start so the meeting never took place , I believe they moved to another track the next week

While all this save the stadium is going on the real issue of why the track is not running needs to be addressed or more to the point who is the reason it's not running , it's no good guessing , there are people out there who know where the problem is but are not saying , you could be focusing all your efforts on to the wrong people , people need to speak up , get to the root of the problem and then you might be able to make inroads about getting Coventry back

you don't need a box just an Amazon firestick and you load kodi on yourself, the video to load them is on YouTube, you don't pay over the odds for them you buy them off amazon

those dodgy traders would be Amazon then , cause you can get a stick from them and add the rest yourself free of charge , so if as you say kodi fails you still have your perfectly working firestick

tai is a winner because he has what it takes and what works for him and that is fine but it obviously doesn't work for everyone , it's no bother to me if it's tried or not and yes being the best does rub people up the wrong way but just being the best individual doesn't make you the best team player

its a damming insight into the world of woffinden , it works for him and that's great but to inflict it on everybody else is blinkered and pig headed , there is no i in team but there is in tai , the riders in GB are what they are and going down the tai route isn't going to change that .if the riders really thought tai's way was the way for them then there is nothing stopping them doing it individually

Great rider but tai is out for tai and not that he f***ing cares but he is not as popular as he thinks he is and divides opinion like no other rider

Bring in a harder compound tyre so the engines Rev more and blow up and then the riders can all go and buy a shiny new GTR , hell of a business plan 😉

Time to move on now from this sorry and damaging saga, what's done is done time to make belle vue the success it should be
