Let's be honest here. A prestige international meeting should be staged at the very best venue that is approved and available. With the very best will in the world, the new Swindon track will only cover the basics at best so to avoid embarrassment / criticism the U.K. authorities should make representations to the FIM now and get the venue reallocated. I'm sure some folks will have already made travel plans - by relocating now there is an opportunity to make changes without too much upheaval.

Didn't I read somewhere that the Polish clubs would be running more Saturday fixtures this season. If that's right then Gomolski could be forced to miss several UK fixtures with Gdansk having priority. That would be too much of a risk for the Lions in my view.
