  1. Based on 2021 form, I would certainly pick Nielsen ahead of Cook. Think Birmingham have a great signing here!
  2. Poole easily could've fitted him in, just drop Ben Cook instead!
  3. I could name dozens of riders, may not be any good but there's plenty who can ride a bike!
  4. Could complete the team with 2 riders who can certainly score plenty in the reserve berth! Oxford 2022? Troy Batchelor 9.11 Scott Nicholls 8.84 Cameron Heeps 5.19 Kyle Newman 5.03 Jack Thomas 4.79 Stefan Nielsen 4.52 James Sarjeant 4.30 Total 41.78
  5. There not gonna sign him on a 10.74 ave, when they have 3 heat leaders available on lower averages
  6. Lots of posters are quick to say no to Bates, Proctor, Sedgmen for example. But who else fits? Normally I wouldn't suggest a 6.00 man who will score 4 points a match, but of the next best option is a 2.00 junior - better off with one of the above 3 mentioned!
  7. I've read on the forum that Thomas Jorgensen doesn't want to ride in the Champ next year, but if Berwick could sign him, they'd be one of my title favourites!
  8. If he wanted to race NL, he should have completed 8 matches for Kent to get a 3.00 ave. His 5+ ave doubles to 11+ for NL now!
  9. If they are the only riders available, there's certainly no risk in using them!
  10. 7.29 x 1.5 = 10.94 Last rode for Premiership Poole in 2019
  11. They could still make their teams before Berwick & Newcastle complete theirs! It's more a race to be the last to declare a rider!
  12. Yeah, just remembered he's signed for Plymouth in the Champ!
  13. Armadale 2022? William Lawson 8.10 Danny Phillips 7.90 Tom Woolley 7.53 George Rothery 4.92 Joe Alcock 4.36 Gregor Miller 3.88 Lewis Miller 3.00 Total 39.69
  14. Leicester 2022? Dan Thompson 10.17 Joe Thompson 8.52 Tom Spencer 5.53 Ryan T Daley 5.44 Mickie Simpson 3.62 Ben Trigger 3.57 Kai Ward 3.00 Total 39.85
  15. Oxford 2022? Dan Gilkes 10.30 Nathan Stoneman 8.22 Connor Coles 6.04 Sam Hagon 5.75 Connor King 3.67 Eli Meadows 3.00 Danny Smith 3.00 Total 39.98
  16. Berwick 2022? Kyle Bickley 8.75 Greg Blair 7.57 Luke Crang 6.41 George Rothery 4.92 Kieran Douglas 4.18 Ben Rathbone 4.00 Mason Watson 3.91 Total 39.74
  17. Kent 2022? Ben Morley 9.18 Jake Mulford 7.78 Richard Andrews 6.55 Danno Verge 5.56 Jacob Clouting 4.20 Connor King 3.67 Vinnie Foord 3.00 Total 39.94
  18. Plymouth 2022? Dan Gilkes 10.30 Nathan Stoneman 8.22 Connor Coles 6.04 Henry Atkins 5.86 Ben Trigger 3.57 Eli Meadows 3.00 Vinnie Foord 3.00 Total 39.99
  19. I'd suggest you don't sign top heat leaders to increase their averages, you sign them to win heats & hope improvements come from the lower averaged riders. That being said I do expect Cook to up his average above 9.
  20. Even if Basso had said he wanted to return to Poole, unless a contract has been signed, riders (and clubs) can change their minds.
  21. That's an odd comment as Cook is stronger than every Scunthorpe rider (plus rumoured signings)
  22. I disagree, fans may want to buy them for Christmas Presents & if fans want to wait till all 7 are signed, they can still do that!
