I disagree as long as Newcastle can get an 8+ guest, they should stick with that! Can't see anyone out there to come in at number 1. Bigger priority in my view is getting a stronger number 7!

While Nicholls & Harris have weaker aves in the Prem, they are stronger than MPT in the Champ, so can't say they were weakened!

Fair comments, also fans need to consider that Newcastle have raced two very strong home sides. I don't expect them to win anywhere, but should score more at other tracks.

Totally agree with you, also if Newcastle had gone for Sedgmen instead of Congreave, that would've put Wright at reserve & the team looks much more competitive!

If Oxford wanted to use their top rider (Nicholls) to replace a reserve (Stoneman) the first available time would've been in heat 12, by which time Oxford would've been 24 points behind & people would question "why wait till you've lost to use a tac sub"?
