  1. Kent's 2 away draws should keep them clear of the wooden spoon!
  2. Birmingham & Newcastle were open & honest with the fans & asked for help! Eastbourne chose to kept it quiet (I certainly had no idea they were in trouble till riders missed rides at Leicester) until perhaps too late!
  3. I notice the Eastbourne double header is still on the speedwayGB website, should be kept far more up to date to avoid confusion over fixtures surely?
  4. I don't understand the rule as it's different to the normal guest rules! As Newcastle are below the points limit can they bring in Sam Masters to replace Wethers - no, so should only be able to use a 2* rider to replace a 1* or 2* reserve! If teams can replace 1 or 2* reserves with a 3* reserve they should also be able to replace a 6.00 rider for a 9.00 rider if 3 points under the limit! I can't understand how similar situations have different outcomes?
  5. One thing I would say is if they call off matches whenever there's a chance of rain, they will run out of dates to race fixtures! I'd imagine you'd get bad crowds racing in cold / wet October!
  6. There is no easy answer to this, call it off early & the weather is good, people will say "should have waited"! Try & get the match on & it's rained off & people will say "should of called it off sooner"!
  7. Why did they drop him then, I thought Newcastle admitted they couldn't afford him?
  8. I doubt it as they dropped Vissing before the season started due to the budget set out! Wouldn't make sense to break said budget now!
  9. If he started racing to his 8.00 ave after signing with Kent I'd agree with you, but he's still struggling at Sheffield after gaining a Champ place!
  10. Not for yesterday's meeting, but if Freeman was missing again, they'd be legal options!
  11. could've been worse, imagine Flint or Dan Thompson replacing Freeman!
  12. If Kent aren't happy with Mulford missing matches, it's up to them to replace him!
  13. I hate that the qualifiers aren't even, 4,4,4&3 qualifying! Just have 16 qualify & if a track thinks they won't get a big crowd without a home rider - don't offer to host the meeting!
  14. Very true, the rider finishing 15th in the GPs is still a world class rider, someone has to finish last!
  15. r/r lost to Nicholls, Batchelor & Starke, so with a fit Worrall you'd maybe hope for 1 or 2 extra points gained, but on the whole r/r did a fair job for the Monarchs!
  16. You mean the FIVE year plan may only last ONE year? Surely not lol!
  17. Well after a draw at Edinburgh, Kent are now far better placed to avoid the wooden spoon!
  18. Best keep Rothery on a 1* for 2022, than use him & up his grade to 2*!
  19. Rider replacement scored 8+1, so can't complain about that!
  20. Can't imagine that's ever happened before! Only 2 points between the bottom 5 as well!
  21. Do Berwick run supporters buses? I can get there by bus, but no late buses leave Berwick!
  22. Only if the developing riders get Champ places, what if more NDL riders are forced out, due to low points limit, than get signed for Champ teams?
  23. That's one thing NDL riders are missing this year, "track time" 12 matches over a season will not help their development! Be good if they were encouraged to get extra racing at IOW!
