You could well be right though! Starke was a good reserve his problem was scoring well at reserve and then moving up to the main body and becoming a passenger. If it IS Rew at 6 then we’re going to have to be patient with him. He may be talented but there looks like there’ll be a few seasoned pro’s like Lewi Kerr at 6 for a few clubs so he’ll no doubt find it tough at least to begin with.

Things change on an hourly basis let alone daily basis with this team building lark. That’s why it’s a bit misguided and premature to confidently state that certain riders have definitely signed. Even some in rare cases find themselves out of the team even after actually signing a contract..

Kemp surely? I’d have Kemp over Jenkins or Gilkes personally. Kemp was on the list last year but Wolves used him as their senior reserve. With a few now not on the list, Kemp will be one of the better ones IMO. He hasn’t kicked on as expected YET, but I still have faith. He’s a talented boy.

Yeah totally understand not everyone can stump up the upfront free particularly during these troubled times when most of us are feeling the pinch. To be honest they’ve not really been worth it in the past as they leave you very little room for missing a meeting for whatever reason and you’re out of pocket. They’ve been poor value. But as I’ve said they were a little better this year so I picked one up for the first time ever. Being now transferable so if you couldn’t make it you could pass it to someone else to use was an added incentive. No idea why that took so long! It was actually nice to have it all sorted for the year and not have to worry about finding the entrance money on the day. Walking straight in through the season ticket gate and skipping the queue was also nice. All will come down to value again for next year for me. If I’ll again gain a couple of free meetings then I’ll probably get another.

100% agree there as well! Always used to love the big glass bottles of Corona as a kid, cherryade a particular favourite. We used to have an Alpine drinks van deliver around our way too back in the day, big glass bottles of pop. Them were the days
