  1. Yet more insults, ffs give it a rest and enjoy the fact you've got the house to yourself for the weekend.
  2. Why would we do that, we are speedway fans. Darts looks great on tv but it's just loads of people having a great time on the p1ss. Speedway can only attract a new audience if the racing is exciting, so last night was a success in those terms and anyone who watched on tv couldn't fail to be impressed, providing they actually like watching bikes in the first place. You surely must have noticed that you are the only one on here who thinks like you do, yet you keep on banging the same drum and calling the rest of us shortsighted and thick, quite insulting really mate.
  3. Well at least you were gracious enough to admit it. I want tomorrow to be just as good as tonight and there's every chance, despite however much rain there is, that track can cope with a lot. My comment about things being different tomorrow night was not in any way negative, the track has had great meetings following rain. I suppose I was thinking aloud about who I'll back to win, I backed Brady tonight, close but no cigar.
  4. I was loving my forecast? What a ridiculous thing to say. Anyway you crack on, I hope you get a full day sunbathing tomorrow. Ps, be a love and post on here when the rain arrives, just for clarity.
  5. I'm 8 miles away and just been outside, definitely raining. Not sure what you mean, why would I be delighted?
  6. FYI it's now chucking it down, forecast to continue through the night and definitely more to come tomorrow. Things will be different tomorrow night.
  7. Yes, Bowen I think he's called, works for BSN presenting. I think they used to supply BV but unsure if they still do, only based in Lancs, 20 miles away.
  8. Fantastic night of racing, so pleased for Dan, he's loved dearly at BV and you can see it's reciprocated. Well done BV on track prep, hopefully they'll sort the catering etc for tomorrow.
  9. Lambert, when it matters. Fricke chose gate4 probably because of what happened in his last heat, trapped on the kerb. Shame as he's been outstanding tonight.
  10. Same here, I backed him e/w at 28/1, thought it would suit him. I also backed Brady to win it, so am still in the game.
  11. Well the water doesn't seem to have done much harm does it, as per most meetings the racing has improved. I ask again, what exactly is your beef tonight?
  12. That's ridiculous mate, they must be missing out of a fortune in takings. My dad will be turning in his commemorative brick.
  13. It looked that way at the back of the temp stand, also big queues for the catering vans at that end.
  14. Take another photo now, I reckon most of those empties are now full.
  15. Shut up Tatum, you're just mugging yourself off with your bullsh1t
  16. I'd forgotten about her until watching the rerun of Prague just now. Hate hearing it already and we're now in for 2 nights of it, great.
  17. Not a chance, wouldn't be any different if Billy Smarts were running it. Cardiff city centre lends itself to there being plenty going on and the stadium is just a short walk away, whereas Gorton is nothing more than a big housing estate. This weekend is a virtual sellout, couldn't expect better given the state of the sport in this country. I've never attended a speedway meeting for the occasion, always in the hope of decent racing, Wednesday night British Finals at Brandon, just a big mad dash to get there for tapes up and straight home after. The BLRC at Hyde Rd, always a sellout approaching 25k in attendance, all for the speedway. So there we have it, you like a party atmosphere, no doubt plenty agree with you, but there are also lots of us who just want to see good racing and are not arsed about you what you happy clappers want, each to their own. Here's hoping it's a great weekend of exciting speedway. If anyone wants to carry on after the meeting then Manchester City centre is a 10minute Uber ride away, sorted.
  18. You need to brush up on your geography, OT is in Trafford Borough.
  19. I'd say not but nothing ever gets done about that sort of move unless a rider comes down.
