Belle Vue vs Kings Lynn Playoff Semi 1st Leg 24/09/18

If Cook had rode and had to pull out after one ride due to his injury you would be hanging him out to dry, can't win with folk like you who think they have all the answers. The reasons for the track issues were given on Monday evening, the temperature dropped considerably bringing moisture to the surface, I was out to work shortly after the meeting finished and, being outdoors, I needed gloves for the first time since April, haven't needed them the rest of the week though, Monday night was a cold one. -
Your loss, I've just watched tuk tuk polo on Premier, also Elephant polo, you're missing it all.
-
Cheers Dave.
-
What time is the broadcast starting Dave, currently showing fell running, or similar..

jog on then and stop replying.

Of course you did.

Oh silly me, there I was thinking Colin had covered it perfectly.

Thanks for clarifying that Mark, what would we do without you?

Belle Vue vs Kings Lynn Playoff Semi 1st Leg 24/09/18

Summers looked to be spannering, or at least helping out in Etheridge's pit bay during the meeting, I assume that's why he got involved, wrongly so. Allitt did apologise for his actions during the post-match interview but later tweeted that he was just "looking out for my boys". As previously pointed out it did appear that Simon Lambert was the first to stoke it up once the riders had pulled to a halt near the pit gate, then it just snowballed. Allitt was lucky to stay on his feet when Summers gave him a shove, no doubt it would have escalated even further if he'd gone over, weebles wobble but they don't fall down. -

Lemon really letting himself down in terms of his knowledge regarding rules etc, just talking in riddles. Fair play to Allit for the apology there, takes a big man and he is one. -

Well done Kings Lynn, had the strength in depth to prevail tonight, disappointing after getting 10 up so early on. MPT inspirational tonight. -

Good ride by Riss to gain a valuable point, could prove crucial that one. -

Proctor a very lucky lad, thankfully relatively unscathed I think. -

Well those wrestling dwarfs have had events cancelled all over the shop since a bit of bad publicity, maybe Lemo should invite them in for a practice. -

I think he was down on power rather just shepherding Lambert, either way so far so good. -

Poor positional sense from Worrall, despite lacking power, they are the sort of races you need points. -

Integrable, eh Kelv. -
Unsure how reliable it is but Scunthorpe appear to have some Friday evening dates set aside for October, never been myself but only ever hear good reports about the racing, might be worth a punt. Agree re Owlerton, used to love our Thursday night trips over Woodhead for meetings there, first it was the smell of the bakery as you approached the stadium, then as you say the Castrol aaahhhh would kick in, always a fast well prepared track.

Speedway is my main sporting interest but I do watch the odd Moto GP if I'm at a loose end, have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever but that doesn't hamper my enjoyment. I used to watch Superbikes when Foggy was on the scene and I absolutely loved those Sundays, probably more to do with buying into the character than anything else, he was brilliant for promoting the sport imo and raced like we all wished we could, his battles with the likes of Frankie Chili and Corser were enthralling. Once he retired I did keep tuning in but didn't last more than a couple of months, never watched it since.

Win or lose at least we are almost certain to see some great speedway. I'm feeling quite positive, unusual for me, a 10 or 12 point lead to take to Saddlebow Rd will keep the fire stoked for next Monday, we may have Craig back by then. As FF says, if all are on their game then we can do it, here's hoping. -
Maybe not from where you're sitting but trust me it's grim for those of us who aren't interested in your personal arguments. Of course he can't name 12 riders, I challenged him on that when he posted it on Saturday night and he never came back, that was proof enough for me, I haven't felt the need to keep beating him with the same stick, each to their own I suppose.
