  1. Ok, you crack on with that theory Walter, we both know you're wide of the mark.
  2. Ah well, my mistake, you do seem bitter, as R&R says as if the Poles would be so stupid. They are just better than us on their own tracks, also pretty good on ours when it's NSS.
  3. I don't think it's bitterness, just abject disappointment that we're so far off the pace. Men v boys as far as we're concerned.
  4. Well they were seeded last year, if that's what you're referring to. I agree though, he's done a decent job, much prefer him to muddlo.
  5. Worrall worked hard for that point but there's just no speed in our boys engines, he was stuck on the inside I assume because he couldn't have got the drive in the dirt. Well done Bomber.
  6. No change given by Majic on Sunderstrom then, harsh but fair.
  7. Something needs doing for sure, in a team competition it should be the team who suffer whatever punishment, not allowing them the use of the joker would be a start, problem is it's not always as obvious as it was in Batchelors case. Scrap the thing altogether and the majority would celebrate the fact.
  8. Not quite, it was Kelvin who straight away said he thought there'd be repercussions, this stopped Nigel in his tracks as he was in mid scream about the fact that the Aussies could now use the joker. I've noticed Nigel always seems to push the joker aspect in commentary, more so than he needs to, fair enough keep new viewers informed but no need to shout it from the rooftops, very reminiscent of It's a knockout, it's an embarrassment to the sport imo.
  9. I don't think you'll find an argument to that on here, unfortunately the clowns that run the sport still seem to think it's a great idea.
  10. I suppose we have to assume his 'orders' were to go for the win initially, he was chasing hard for most of the race, 3rd place rider was so far behind that Batchelor had to take such drastic action to slow and let him through, leaves a sour taste as it does every time you see that caper happening, completely unsporting. I just hope our lads aren't in a position to be able to gain from something similar tonight.
  11. We've had this sort of rubbish on here all week, this team's crap, that track's crap, it's all going to end in misery etc etc. Is it really worth bothering at all if you feel so despondent about it, why not go to the pub, or watch some inane Saturday night tv. If I thought a film was going to be rubbish I wouldn't bloody watch it. Just sayin...
  12. Good point, most commentators wouldn't admit to such poor knowledge, just shows there's no competition out there for their jobs, in the comfort zone and enjoying the jolly ups around Europe.
  13. Nah, leave him as he is, the dark destroyer. It would be great to see the get it stuck right up em on home soil tomorrow night.
  14. Excluding Batchelor is not putting things right by any means, shame for the Latvians as they are capable of pushing Russia, hopefully they don't miss out by a point.
  15. Brilliant rant, I'd never even noticed it until now, I'm supporting team Latvia tonight.
  16. You're still around for the cause though eh, think positive, it's live speedway and anything can happen.
  17. Not seen these mentioned anywhere but by chance I came across this little series, seems like it's a regular half hour slot. Episodes include an interview with new British |Champion Craig Cook, also some interesting stuff on the Poultec set up, Olly Allen giving the insight into how it works. Most enjoyable for me was the skype interview with Adam Roynon, what a brave lad he is, still hoping to ride for another 10 years, stay safe Adam. One podcast dedicated solely to Edwin Overlander, what a career he's had in speedway, seems a nice chap. Anyway, enjoy, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p051d52h/episodes/downloads
  18. Forecast I looked at, accuweather I think, showed rain around lunch time on both days but clearing up towards the evenings, quite warm too, 24/26degrees. I'm hoping it's on today, been ages since Tuesday and I've got the taste.
  19. Well he must have had at least 6 months to sort a decent track out for Last Saturday, it's not as though the meeting was dropped on him last minute.
  20. You're right I was the only one to ask you to take it to pm but I've just checked the post and it has 9 likes, now those weren't for me, they were for what I said, does that not help towards persuading you to do as asked? Now we've also got waihekiaces vote, that makes 11 of us that are sick of seeing threads ruined day after day by your stupid arguments. Just for clarity, this post isn't aimed solely at Gavan, so don't be throwing your toys out eh.
  21. You're probably right in that tonight's meeting was top drawer and will take some beating but I'm looking forward to the race-off and final, we're pretty much guaranteed a decent track, weather permitting of course, and at least 40 heats of speedway featuring some very good riders, GB included.
