  1. Why in Philip's defence, has he bought himself a tractor? He gets a lot of flack but I don't recall anyone blaming him for track prep.
  2. Doesn't really matter though does it, he's the reigning World Champion, can't get much better than that. Been an entertaining meeting but let's face it after the last 2 it didn't have to be much to show an improvement. Here's hoping Tai can keep forging ahead in the points race by winning the final.
  3. Well since you're raisin the subject..
  4. Great shout Philip, hope you backed your instinct, well done. Yes, we call him AJ.
  5. There is no point in it whatsoever, I also find it tiresome.
  6. So it is, Prague, thanks for the heads up, can't wait.
  7. Absolutely, if they don't abandon it soon there will be nothing to talk about for the next fortnight.
  8. If only Carlsberg made speedway, just imagine. Brahma for me with a slice of lime, it's pop really but it does numb the pain.
  9. I don't think I could watch these GP's without having beer in
  10. Not surprising really. As long as there's some decent racing, they do owe us after the last debacle.
  11. Decent night's speedway on Sky, If I lived up that way I would definitely consider going to watch speedway @ Glasgow on a regular basis, I know there wasn't much passing but the riding was spectacular, very reminiscent of visits to the Shay on a good few Saturday nights. Andre Compton the stand out rider for me, always love watching him ride, a real thrills n spills merchant and usually has plenty of speed.
  12. Now I feel guilty complaining, at least I only missed out on the decent racing
  13. Wasn't it. I feel like I'm just going through the motions watching it because it's speedway, happens too many times but I keep watching, just in case. Maybe I'll always be in this state of limbo, can't imagine giving up on it.
  14. No worries, I was just returning the compliment and making conversation. Cheers Alan.
  15. I don't have a favourite overseas team but I would like to know why your club use the mouse logo, how did that come about?
  16. Ah right, well it must be poor then if it doesn't measure up to this place. Great ride by Sundstrum there, under plenty of pressure from Laguta.
  17. Less grass? The track shape and size looks ok but it is proving processional.
  18. Good luck Peter Ljung, that looked nasty.
  19. That's a good statement, puts it all in perspective and offers an insight into the relationship between manager and rider. This pairs series has been a welcome inclusion in the Eurosport schedules because it means we get speedway but it has a long way to go before it will receive the proper recognition as a big series, here's hoping it continues and GB are able to put forward a squad for the 3 meetings next year.
  20. Here we go, it's going to be a long night on Eurosport, or a very short one.
  21. Racing not great but decent result for Belle Vue. Great to see Lambert ride, I hope he has a bright future. Poor Nigel, so gutted that the meeting went the distance he's trying to get Wolves abandoned..
  22. Great ride from young Lambert, lovely rider to watch, reminds me of PC the way he finds gaps that aren't there, pure natural. Also puts his manager to shame going out and attacking the track just after Lyon was mithering the ref to call it off
