This looks the best Stoke side since they had Richie Worrall.
-
Depends how long he sticks around for.
-
What’s the thinking behind that?
-
Plymouth clearly the think he’s a 2.00 and are building their team accordingly.
-
Hurry’s on a very attractive average and every team needs someone to aspire to and less from the front. Especially as it looks like Bowen, Boxall, Stoneman & Thomas are all ruled out for different reasons. I must admit, I’m intrigued who the number 1 is going to be.

Ayres is a victim of the low Championship points limit when he’s not a 2 pointer and tbh he’s been lucky to have a loyal club like Mildenhall to not be a victim of the NL’s low point limit. As they could’ve easily chosen have chosen Kemp or Bailey as their number 1. It makes you think though that the team is essentially already signed and is very close to the points limit, to choose Ayres over Kemp.

So Bursill won’t be back unfortunately.
-
What other rules have been created Jayne please but unpublished?
-
Kind of! ‘fronted by club commercial manager Lee Chipchase and local farmer Greg Palmer – plus unnamed partners – in control of the operation, although Jolly is to remain a part of the set-up at West Row.’
-
Confirmation today that Mildenhall have been taken over and will take their place next season.
-
Where’s that rule been confirmed?
-
I’ll start a new thread for 2019 once it’s close to the start of the season.

David Crane, I assume, usually knows what is going on!
-
The thing with Shelby is because his average is SO low that it is likely to go up. Especially if he's in a team with at least one useful reserve who will move up into the team and then Rutherford can ride at reserve which despite his long plateauing stay in the NL, he's never had a long run at reserve. Not a steal on that average by any means, but he has shown he's a 4 point man in the NL and this coming year it's a watered down league and he's on a 3 point average!
-
Of course another season in the NL would be beneficial. But that doesn’t stop him from riding in the Championshipship too.
-
Who you looking at for the final 3 places?
-
If you can’t get Bacon at number 2, then Shanes would be a perfect fit. But the reserve duo has to be Hume and Flint surely (assuming young Leon won’t be at Berwick).
-
A decent number 1 at this level now back at a track he loves and on a nice average.
-
At that point Jack Smith thought he’d be back with the Colts!
-
Let’s get back on topic guys... Leicester have seemingly realised that no-one likes their name suggestions and saved it by saying the poll was a semi-final and there’ll be 4 more options to choose from! Surely Cubs and Hunters will be included.
-
I equally don’t doubt that it’s because of the points limit but surely someone seemingly as important to Belle Vue’s long-term future as Smith can still be fitted in regardless? Plan the team around Smith, Bickley, both Woodhull’s if they want it and potentially Lawlor and see what’s left. These are the riders who genuinely might ride for the Aces and are all young and improving so will make a decent side anyway!
-
Clegg’s average is over 8 now with his late season form.
-
BWD confirmed himself in the winter of the rule change that he was no longer eligible for the NL.
-
The eligibility rules for the NL has changed since he rode though. Literally because of BWD the rules changed that you need a British passport, so he may have ridden NL at the time but now he would NOT be eligible and is not British.
