Unfortunate for Plymouth fans that they found themselves with a winning team only for injuries to strike.
-
The 23rd has been the cut-off date all season long! A total disregard for fans to move this meeting at short notice when time off work, travel arrangements etc would’ve been made. Plus we’re still waiting on news of the Fours, called off at short notice.
-
They cost him £2500 as well!
-
After Spiller, Mildenhall currently have the 2nd and 3rd best reserve in the league.
-
Depends on your relationship with the rider. Nine times out of ten is it professional and a meeting or a phone call at the very least is the correct way. But Dan G is his mate so they might text each other anyway and tbh it was pretty obvious that Hume would come back into the team when fit, he’s just happened to recover a lot faster than normal.
-
Greenwood is a temporary injury replacement for Hume, so Danyon can slot back in regardless of averages.
-
Hurry is a decent replacement given the time of year! Plus Kent have signed him on his actual average haha.
-
It’s not Len Silver’s fault or Kent’s fault that they were without a number 1. That blame lies solely with Boxall for acting so irresponsible.

Peterborough v Ipswich Sunday 5th August

Wasn’t this supposed to be a double header with Lakeside after it? What happened to that meeting? -
You’re right officially because with the meeting being abandoned it’s as if it didn’t take place. However it’s clear and obvious to everyone what happened so I expect some dispensation here to allow Plymouth a facility.

Tbf Stoke have previous, Buxton don’t, and Coventry seem to have stadium availability issues.

Birmingham Brummies v Cradley heathens

What are you on about? -
Stoke have brought an injured Extance in for him though! Very unfortunate decision! He’d be a great addition to the Brummies reserve ranks as he’s been scoring alright for Stoke.

Called it! Brennan for Flint and R/R for Walker who’s apparently sick. -
The Kelsey Dugard that apparently doesn’t want to ride on the south coast as he lives in Newcastle now, has signed for Plymouth!!
-
I know that. Hence why I said he ‘got the call’ and country politics were a factor by being German and they probably couldn’t have picked another Pole etc
-
Depends if they can afford it.
-
Obviously they’ve signed Ethan and not Danny but just being in the World U21 Final shows you how good he is! No NL rider is that standard and none of Wajtknecht, Greaves, Perks, Mountain etc got the call. Yes I know country politics came into play but look how far above the NL Lambert, Bewley & Jakobsen are who ride in Britain and they aren’t finding the series easy.
-
They would’ve stayed unbeaten at home and won at least 9 points away at Stoke, Buxton & Isle of Wight to give them a play-offs spot anyway. Then bring Spiller in for NLKOC, POs etc and get him back next year on a reduced average too.
-
On a 4.00 average though! Where the hell has that come from?! Unless someone at the BSPA has just decided he’s too good for a 3.00.
-
Sealey in for Butcher. Hardly much of an improvement. Whats happened to Borczuch? Or is he being saved for the play-offs?
-
Hume’s average is 8.80 but Knight 8.83.
-
R/R means 2 rides for the reserves, and one for Walker & Flint. So 5 points at best! Greenwood can score at least 6 points surely, he’s done much better than that in the past too even if he tailed off last year.
-
That is true, time will tell as he clearly won’t be staying in the 1-7. It would make sense to allow him to race elsewhere if that’s his wish As others have said, I suggested Atkin for Cockle as Buxton are below the points limit.
