  1. What’s the rationale for using 20 meetings? Seems an arbitrary figure and doesn’t even reflect a season.
  2. I’m not going to claim that there’s a ‘big pool of riders’ but Halsey & Dan Greenwood are 2 that want team places but can’t get one. Knight is another that hasn’t ruled out racing completely.
  3. Definitely looks an exciting meeting and a good weather forecast currently. I can’t decide if Jorgensen is a good choice of guest, as he’s clearly a popular choice and goes well at the EWR but can he outscore Howarth & Bjerre and nearly match Worrall?!
  4. I've changed the updates site now. That makes a bit more sense, but I would've still given Edwards heat 11 seeing as he's shown up much better than Brooks so far an that was only one race.
  5. Why didn’t Edwards take Brooks or Dugard’s final ride?
  6. Yeah I was suggesting that there’s been plenty of time to work on the track.
  7. There’s always lots of interest on the Isle of Wight fb group.
  8. It’s embarrassing when your last sentence is actually accurate!
  9. Eagles will be looking for 2 out of 2 away wins then. A lot depends on whether Edwards takes to the track.
  10. That’s probably the biggest meeting of the season too! Any chance of a double header??
  11. Peterborough? The semi-final there last year was on a Tuesday I think.
  12. Sam Woods isn't in the NL anymore. I'll let you pick an alternative.
  13. Yeah and by picking a ‘weaker’ rider it makes the draw uneven.
  14. Give us a clue as to who you mean.
  15. They’ll turn up and row in the half of the draw that is that much easier! Good to see 2 semis this year though.
  16. 1. Jack Smith 8.20 2. Leon Flint 3.00 3. Kyle Bickley 6.67 4. Jordan Jenkins 7.19 5. Danyon Hume 7.33 6. Jason Edwards 3.00 7. Drew Kemp 3.00
  17. The aim is to pick a side who'll end with the highest collective team average. Simply pick 7 riders upto a 39 point limit and a maximum of 2 riders from each team. No transfers, it's just a start of the season competition. Last year's winner was Eagles69, ahead of Islander15 and SKJ. In 2016 Halifax Tiger won, ahead of John Leslie and Turn Two.
  18. You just know he will on Sunday. He’s much improved since his time with the Scorpions and no end of times a riders returns and puts in a blinding performance!
  19. I’d prefer ‘Islander’ but it was taken
