  1. Yeah they did well in the NT final against Mildenhall but didn’t have a strong group to get out of. But tbh your team did alright because Atkins was brilliant and Roynon had the wrong average. I’m all for continuity, I just saw Plymouth struggle in the middle order last season as Atkins/Walker & Andrews were all great at number 7 but only Atkins really scored in the main body which is where he’ll be all year now. Now it looks like the team building is taking the same direction. If Boxall comes back it looks a weak pair of reserves if Bulley/Anderson etc feature again but probably the best 1 & 5 in the league.
  2. I know he's struggled on big tracks in the past, but as long as he can master Smallbrook it's fine and he should help us out away!
  3. It's the same team as last year and it wasn't that successful in the league.
  4. If it was Knight, he wouldn’t even be missing with Championship clashes though.
  5. Is Mountain actually better than Knight?
  6. A very strong 1 & 5 and Stoneman will be one of the better 3rd heat leaders so there’s plenty of points from that trio. Rowe will be strong at home and that’s a top 4 to win most home meetings imo. It’s at reserve where they’re lacking but then multiple other teams might be in the same position with the continued low points limit.
  7. Not a lot of scope for improvement but he’ll help with the big home wins for the aggregate meetings!
  8. I’ll be surprised if Halder isn’t at a ‘better’ team.
  9. A bit much asking Hampshire to be at number 2 all year isn’t it?
  10. Cos there’s only 9.44 for 2 riders left.
  11. It hasn’t before though. You sign a guaranteed improver (Edwards this year, Brennan last year & BWD before) then make astute changes when necessary and always find a strong reserve at the end of the season.
  12. As I think we all expected, Jamie Sealey is back.
  13. Surely there’s more improvement in JPB than Bacon?!
  14. With Widman and a 3 pointer back that leaves 5.18 and my choice would be Luke Harris. Though Callum Walker seems to love the island track so it would be good to see him feature.
  15. Seems the promoters weren’t aware though.
  16. Certainly happy with the signing of Ben as he’s a very likeable bloke and is a dependable number 5. Just a 3rd heat leader, second string and junior reserve to find!
  17. Only 2 days ago the league accepted the Bees’ application with the knowledge that he would be at the helm, only for him to almost immediately quit! Surely they should’ve been better informed, so if the promoters don’t know then you can understand why the fans are skeptical.
  18. They get track specialists as guests as both are on high averages and they have a quality bottom end to beat the opposition there. At home, Jenkins will step up and beat heat leaders regularly like he was in the last few meetings anyway.
  19. Unfortunately quite a few top end NL riders seem to be looking for a team place abd the low points limit and less teams won’t help and some of these are also struggling to get a Championship place! Further down, even promising riders like Bowtell are looking for a team! Surely his average is guaranteed to go upwards.
