  1. Manzares as a number 6 would be awesome, especially considering theres no weak link to drop down.
  2. Jacobs was looking for teams on Twitter only a couple of days ago, so unlikely to be him with Rob seemingly having a plan in place.
  3. Marson and Bebee, at home, look capable of counteracting that though. Jenkins & Bickley got going very well in the top 5 at the end of the season, so Kemp could be the same.
  4. Great team so far that look like they should challenge and an entertaining side to reap the benefits of moving back to a Friday night 👍🏻
  5. Ridiculous if theyre forced to do that. There would be more clashes with Championship clubs on a Friday, than with Premiership clubs on a Monday. Regardless the fixed nights was to avoid clashes with the Championship, not top flight & NL. Like BV Colts should still be allowed to use Wednesdays.
  6. The Warriors are joining the SDL 2018. Barry and co are brilliant with bringing on the young ones with My First Skid as well.
  7. Youll get Edwards surely and alongside Kelsey thats a reserve pairing that should score bags of points.
  8. Adam Portwood is the first name on the team sheet on a 3.83 average.
  9. Its definitely something that the NL needs to look at during their AGM. But without co-operation from the Championship its hard to reach a viable conclusion.
  10. Auty was inevitable but Allen is a decent signing.
  11. I cant see Lakeside running an NL side after this year. Id take the Warriors finishing 6th though haha.
  12. Congratulations to Eagle69 on winning, who beat myself & SKJ into second and third! Lots of people had hard luck with choosing Hume or Phillips whos averages were sure to go up before their injuries. Thanks to everyone who took part. 1. Eagle69 55.69 2. Islander15 54.75 3. Also its interesting to note that Belle Vue were the only team that ended with an average higher than Teaboy279!
  13. That team would be over the points limit with Bates in it, yet alone TJ.
  14. Final averages are on the BSPA site now.
  15. Ill add everyones score up, sometime over the weekend.
  16. Saunders on a 3.00 would definitely up his average though.
  17. Surely Wood & Brennan are certainties to be back and Edwards is highly likely with there being no Lakeside. Then a number 1 in either Bailey or Knight and I bet thats it in terms of continuity.
  18. So it wont be for a team that isnt confirmed in a league yet.
  19. Itll just force teams to pick 3.00 riders who arent really upto it and end up with the same problem that Lakeside or Isle of Wight did this season.
  20. The problem is that with a higher limit there needs to be a decent number of heat leaders to spread around. But they can more easily than ever get second tier places and Premiership reserve spots so many of those riders might not want NL, or if they do then move mid season and the NL team loses them like the IOW & Greaves. However a low limit wont wprk as theres not as many competitive 3.00 riders around as a few years ago when the MDL was in full flow.

  22. Depends if its within what the rules say 😉
  23. Same result: he became an unattached 3.00 rider.
  24. Halder got given a average mid season, after he was dropped by Buxton.
