If Lakeside ever do well away then it should be at Kent. Morley has probably won more races there than anybody, Zach should beat everybody bar Bowen, Mason will actually score as a heat leader and it's basically a home meeting for Couzins. If the Hammers struggle again then I think it shows how lacking they will be away from the raceway.
-
Waco you've got your wish with Couzins! MacDonald never seems to get a long enough run in an NL side to prove himself properly. Everyone predicted Mason would be like that. He's a top contender for the largest difference between home and away averages in the league.

Kent Kings V Mildenhall (ch) Good Friday 14/4/17

Fair enough I just thought with Peterborough being a popular practice track he'd have ridden the place before and he's from Anglia isn't he so he must have ridden KL a bit. Yeah he has gone under the radar but I think that's because he wasn't taking 7 rides and scoring massive figures like some riders, rather steady and continual improvement. -

Stoneman has had a very good start to the season and likes going out wide! Thomas looked poor in the British U21semi so I wasn't expecting that score from him but good on him for getting things sorted. -
Fair enough but if you're referring to Hackney at Arena Essex, the NL is a genuinely stronger League than those days.

If anyone is going tonight and able to text for the updates site can you please reply here or message me on here or the updates site.

So you're expecting a poorer than usual track due to it being afternoon, apart from your top 2 even the home riders won't have got used to the raceway until yesterday and most, if not all, of Eastbourne's riders will never have ridden the place before! But you're still judging a whole season against one meeting. Give the club and the riders a chance to prove that the NL is worthwhile. It's still Lakeside after all and you still have a team after all.

I agree but the texter tonight is on pay as you go! -
Riders are going to find Lakeside's track difficult at first. You just need to give them chance.

Yeah no-one texted from Redcar last week. People either saying no (with good reason) or not answering my texts thus far. -

Can anyone text to the updates site tonight please? Message back here, by PM, on the updates site or text me. -
Is anyone going tomorrow that can text to the updates site? I've not been having much luck finding somebody so far.

He probably was, I don't doubt that and I said that. He's often been useful, if not spectacular in the NL. Both the Hammers reserves will finish on averages around 3.50 to 4.00 imo.
-
MacDonald is probably the best MDL style rider still unattached, but I thought Lakeside were going to go down a different route and sign a newbie to the league that they'd unearthed.
-
. True his scores were improved but not all other riders give 100% in open meetings or they try new set ups as opposed to testing in league meetings.

Cradley V Mildenhall Tpnl 17/4/17 @ Monmore

Another tough early test for the Heathens but they came out of the first one with flying colours. Jenkins will take 7 rides and I can't see Ruddick, Woods or Verge scoring many but much will depend on the races between both team's powerful heat leader trios. I think the Heathens will take it but probably a league point for Mildenhall. -
He was useless last season. Why would you possibly want him back?

I saw that 10 riders are supposed to be there trying out.

Birmingham Brummies 2017 Hat Trick

The usual negativity and conspiracy theories from you then. But it's less than a month and then the new averages kick in and he'll be down at reserve anyway. -
How many other promoter's listen to the fans like Barry?? The best promotion in the NL and probably the best in the country at engaging with locals 👍🏻

R/R should strengthen the side as Cupitt knows the best way round Lynn. As has been said, he didn't show that form for KL but he looks a better rider than when he left.
-
He's not ridden speedway for 9 years until My First Skid speedway school at Smallbrook. By the looks of things he's done motocross in the mean time.

Harland Cook's replacement is Jamie Sealey.
