  1. It was strange to see at one point a BSPL declaration with Foord replacing Jenkins officially as the RS only for an almost immediate reissue reverting to the original line up In all press releases Foord had only ever been stated as a guest More than a little puzzling
  2. Did Birmingham ask him? Did the even want him back in if/when they could?
  3. He doesn't have a team He was released when they redeclared to include Hagon You should be able to understand this given the situation with Harrison/Scott at Lynn...
  4. Anyone can check the radar (even I managed it ) Was the briefest of very light showers and forecast is for 7 hours of completely dry conditions with a warm day and stiff drying wind Granted not easy and straightforward given the very significant rainfall of the last 24 hours or so but certainly perfectly possible IF the will is there.....
  5. Oh hokey hokey cokey Oh hokey cokey cokey You put your RS in , you take your RS out In ,out , in out , move them all about!
  6. But he didn't need 7 days leave - more like 7 hours before all was well to fly out to the GP...... And if we go with your 'leave' suggestion I would say that it has to be taken in full and not cut short as it suits for ANY meeting ANYWHERE or it turns into a 28 day ban
  7. I can certainly understand anyone putting their child first in an emergency situation The regs though do state it is a 7 day lay off for a non speedway illness issue so has to be applied for consistency I will also play devil's advocate here - the emergency serious enough to miss the UK meeting didn't prevent boarding a flight to the GP within what about 12 hours.... It is not unreasonable, given the frequent dubious scenarios seen, for doubters to sense the smell of bullsh!t to be in the air
  8. Presumably he won't be travelling to the GP then.......
  9. Best wishes to mini Holder and hope it nothing too serious Should be no facility for that though....
  10. Hopefully nothing serious although to miss a meeting you have to fear its more tgan just the sniffles - No facility for Jack presumably......
  11. Has been a very tough few weeks for JJ with a series of falls and knocks which have hampered him, and limited his scoring somewhat, after an exceptional start to the season A great shame for him and the team
  12. Following his captains lead - seems its the Belle Vue way
  13. I know people won't like it said but in a healthy and thriving professional sport this type of set up would be expelled from the league (or never accepted in the first place)
  14. And the winner of the most irrelevant post of the year goes to........ YOU! Congratulations
  15. Lynn are effectively rotating Harrison and Scott by tedeclaring between meetings as required so at thd moment yes he is declared in their side and isn't available The answer may be different tomorrow depending on which way thd wind is blowing
  16. The track was a disgrace, the pits were a mess, the changing rooms were dirty etc Basically that everything about Birmingham wasn't fit for top level speedway
  17. I like interviews with Nicolai - always provides honest and well articulated responses without the predictable safe management speak you get from most sportsmen
  18. Irrelevant comparison with Becker missing and Masters deliberately not scoring in order to ensure the RR position stayed at 2nd in the averages......
