  1. He doesn't need to be banned - clubs will have to make their own moral judgement as to whether to employ him Fans then can make the same personal judgement as to whether to attend a meeting he is involved in I for one would not part with a penny to attend any meeting where he was riding
  2. At the start of this phase when Chris announced 'the sale' I thought that was actually the end game after a bit of brinkmanship Now I'm not thinking that at all - although in many ways it would seem like the best option (certainly for the club, the fans and probably the sport) I no longer think Chris sees it as the best option for him, even at the risk of not running at all I believe Ipswich will run one way or another - only time will tell who by
  3. So despite all that is going on this winter and the expression of the need to reset and build for the future the proposed best solution to Scunthorpes team building is to bring in and over inflated foreign rider and sacrifice a new 2 point Brit as soon as it is possible to do so I think that shows that people are simply not interested in what might be best and there really is no hope left.....
  4. Replace Pickering with a 2 pointer and you have 2027 one big league in a nutshell
  5. Exactly - Speedway is no longer worth the risk Soon to be no more than a cost covered hobby
  6. Not worth his while just doing the Championship? Oh well there was more than a few that have said if the riders don't like it they should get a job - they will be pleased
  7. Yeah I've got it - too many involved lack the ambition, ability and skills to promote and progress the sport
  8. So basically we are headed for (at best) a semi professional set up I the UK See above - if that is true and we can't even attract and afford up and coming U21 riders what chance those in the category you mention I'm coming to the conclusion that there will not be any common ground between enough clubs to be able to get ANYTHING agreed let alone work UK Speedway is f@c£Ed barring a miracle influx of cash from a currently unforseen siurce
  9. Yet when questions are raised about how one big league could be made to work it is always trotted out that we will just get in 20-30 riders from abroad like its as easy as clicking your fingers.......
  10. Would you really expect him to say otherwise at this point...... (and rightly so)
  11. I refer the honourable gentleman to my previous answer
  12. It makes sense to anyone with even half a brain Unfortunately there are still a few who don't meet the criteria
  13. At that point i dont think there was any intention of not being in charge for 2027 Quite the opposite - I believe deals were already agreed to the point that without such a dramatic unexpected shift we could have been hearing Cooper Rushen announced for a different East Anglian team today for example..... I think the original threat/refusal to be part of a 5 team league was meant more as a bluff with the hope to push towards either a club moving up or pushing for a talks towards a joining into one There mustve been quite an unexpected response to the move to cause Chris to feel his only option was to sell
  14. Come on guys there's no need to be taking barbed swings at each other - that's what Kings Lynn is for
