  1. Well done Swindon - deserved winners on the night and surely there is no way they can lose it from here Special mention for Ellis Perks - he is the Massif man of the meeting
  2. Dropped it on Heeps and threw it down Cam had to turn - Musi was never gonna get round
  3. Still plenty of time to sort that out. The positive is just how good a shape in looks in considering the last few days It is now possible to make it how the Witches want it rather than just how the weather dictates Bring it on!!
  4. There are still breaks in the season and Northern tours dont always happen (The Witches had plenty of single night trips) Funny how now that Matt seems to think.its a good idea you are all for it when previously you wouldve seen it as unthinkable
  5. I'd imagine it wouldve been left so that the rain runs off with no real prep of a racing surface until the rain stops Will need a big effort but that is one thing you can always expect from Chris through Bob and the team. Foxhall may have its issues but lack of effort to make it the best possible isnt one of them
  6. Rain predicted all day today but after this evening there appears to be a clear weather window that's dry and with a good breeze as well as bright spells with a decent temperature so Tuesday should be all systems go with no problem Bring it on!! UP THE WITCHES!!
  7. Perhaps Erik feels he needs those muscles Bald Bloke - to be able to hang on at Compost Corner
  8. Would be good to see Paulco and friends again
  9. I wouldn't want Poole gone but if they did life goes on....
  10. Did Shovlar actually make it home after the semi final? Perhaps he is still under it
  11. Ever heard the saying.... The king is dead - long live the king.....
  12. There have been a few posts about the arrogance of Poole which I have mostly felt uncalled for - until reading point 1......
  13. Indeed but thats where the promotion have to show their worth. When the Witches switched there were similar concerns but crowds actually stabilised and then increased due to what was a more consistent offering Granted being more competitive than we had been for some time is very likely to have had as positive an impact as any other factor
  14. The way I read that is that the CL costs about 75% compared to PL therefore costs are 3 quarters the top level figures That would seem more realistic to me given many costs (rent, insurance, track maintenance etc) are pretty much fixed whichever league Rider points costs perhaps halved therefore an overall reduction of 25% looks a realistic position
  15. If it's not possible for Tues/Weds (not sure if the stadium is available for these days even btw) then it will be the following Monday at the earliest as the stadium is unavailable due to a huge stock car event at the weekend
  16. Have seen him a number of times over the last few years and he has impressed at Foxhall a couple of times even before this year 2019 was certainly a breakthrough season for him but it would take some effort to maintain that let alone improve further It is one of the problems needing to have a points limit that riders making such a rapid improvement become a big risk the following year
