  1. Glad you enjoyed the meeting Bruno and that you at least got to witness 13 heats after my confident prediction of no rain!! Sounds like a horrible journey home. The state of the roads and constant closures which rarely seem to correct much is such a frustration
  2. Thanks BB for reminding me theres always a silver lining
  3. Covatti rode in great pain for Somerset. Ideally needs rest so a guest booking wouldnt be top of his wish list - next.......
  4. The 3% hit and is a doozy of a spectacle Glad we got to a result. A few hard fought heats without being as spectacular as the storm. Witches had to work hard to overcome the Wolves and 'Chiris I Durno what Im doing'
  5. Perhaps Barry has upped his price thinking that Boro are in a desparate position.....
  6. Chances of storm very minor and isolated - just 3% in last forecast I saw and certainly nothing looks like that is wrong to the eye on the ground either so far today All should be set fair - bring your umbrella mind as you may need it as a parasol instead
  7. The odd lump and bump and slightly rougher surface actually improves the racing IMO as it generally slows the races down just a tad and/or means the shortest way isnt always the quickest way round Its good to see Poole looking much improved and safe and back to providing the chance to race on as it traditionally had
  8. Everyone needs to see if their cupboard has the 1972 Nike waffle racing flat moon shoe trainer lurking within - if you have you could be very happy. A pair just sold for £350k !! If all else fails it could at least be an apt new username for someone - 1972 Nike Waffle Racing has quite a ring to it
  9. Agree - it will be hard work to get it right Fingers crossed they are successful
  10. Even if you cant extend simply set the following programme to record as well. Any over run is then captured. If theres no over run its just a couple of button presses to delete
  11. Has been prone to a poor first ride in a lot of meetings but generally seems to correct whatever set up issues he has quickly Very tough, sometimes right on the edge of what is fair. Brave to go round him on turn 2 if you get there about level!!
  12. I agree with this. Whilst Bomber will score the most (even if its potentially not a lot) and is the best choice in terms of this weekends result it sums up the short term blinkered approach of British Speedway Even if somehow it meant we snuck a medal (which is highly unlikely) taking Bewley or any youngster IMO couldve provided a great learning opportunity
  13. Jake IMO still looks a little tentative but is certainly on the way. Shame that from August 1st he wont be at reserve Looks like Nuts (KP) will join Kennett at reserve. 1 more point for Eddie or less for Jake wouldve seen Eddie do back into the 1-5 KP could be a real trump card. He has shown he can beat opposition heat leaders. Also looks worryingly slow the odd time which is puzzling
  14. Cant believe the filter changed my post!! What is the world coming to when you cant use genuine words because a component part is considered offensive
  15. Its sad that some are trying to be snidey at and belittle what should be seen as a greatly positive achievement to raise attendances to this level It shows the way that others should try to emulate
  16. Thats fine - just piles all the pressure on Poole. If they win its expected and so what and if not they have choked
