  1. Very much so - one where you see what you want to see at the time on both sides Would be an interesting one to see a replay of in the cold light of day
  2. Cant see the title wins being like the buses though - you wait ages for one and then another comes along
  3. Foxhall is much larger than compost corner The main backstraight stand has 3000 seats and was at least 2/3 full Solid in the home straight stand and 8-10 deep right round bends 1 and 2 and similar standing in front of the back straight seats Id say my 4 is closer than your 2
  4. Neither Bickley or Flint are elligible until they achieve a Championship average in excess of 4.50
  5. Or conversely Andersen was too slow and turned back into Cam who didnt move off the inside line.....
  6. Possibly a perfect result for Buster all round? An attendance of around 4000 with a home win to keep more of them coming back and the Stars still getting a point.....
  7. Ive got underpants older than some of these riding today!
  8. Happy enough with that - shame we couldnt squeeze out another point to send the Stars home empty handed but you cant have everything This team is built to do just what it did today - every week you are likely to have 1 or 2 not score so well but another will step up This week take a bow Barry
  9. So is the Boro glass half empty or is it half full The average changes mean a team originally 3 points under now is pretty much bang on the limit if you view it negatively Or if positive it means a rider performing at about 3 can be replaced by a new 6 pointer as his rolling avearge has jumped due to a quirk in the regulations Take ya pick......
  10. His 2017 Prem meetings are now again included in his rolling average whereas his starting figure was only his converted 2018 Championship as he didnt ride in the Prem in 18
  11. Got to expect that the Stars will put up a better fight this time but confident the Witches can still pull off a win by around 10 points Also looking forward to the youth championship that follows - will be the first time Ive seen the majority of those taking part and will be interesting to see hopefully a future world champion within the field......
  12. Hans has always been close to being out of order with the block defend / block pass - there a reason a certain move is nicknamed 'the Danish lift'
  13. I dont think any move from Hans was dangerous - he was merely doing what he needed to try and stay in front. Its not his job to simply wave the opposition straight through without a battle and speedway isnt tiddlywinks
  14. It seems to be the stadiums that also run greyhounds are the ones that dont allow pet dogs in Perhaps is a health/vetinary type precaution(???)
  15. Seem to recall that Ged never denied taking the money The dispute was rather over his punishment and whether it was just given he appeared to have been cleared to take it from the required authorities
  16. Fair point also Steve Ultimately whatever the what ifs and if onlys we lost by 10 and thats what counts!
  17. It wasn't the bigger heats as such that were the problem on Monday Heats 7-10 being 19-5 was where the match was lost
  18. 4 possibly 5 of the teams are looking at it the same way so it really isnt a Lynn issue Remember to accomodate that something has to give elsewhere (usually at the bottom end) and you already claim to be defficient there too!
  19. This is all in almost complete contrast to the Ipswich situation With us all the worry was about not naming a team early and little or no news coming out - very different to our normal approach But once Santa Buster produced the Harris parcel from his sack that soon settled most nerves even if the team was seen as 'cannon fodder' Aside from that you wouldnt think Buster was involved at all with everything seeming business as usual and the club still very much 'ours' Crowds are up, performances have exceeded most expectations and racing quality has been up a notch or two and very enjoyable meetings has been the order of the day
  20. With all due respect it doesnt matter if the the count gets to many hundreds The important ONE may supposedly have been prepared to carry on but he didnt - he CHOSE to sell up and was prepared to leave you in the hands of Chapman Either he didnt believe that was a bad thing or he didnt care. I find it hard to believe he didnt care so he mustve been confident it was a good idea for the club
