  1. Decent solid performance tonight with promising rides from every rider Bomber was a class apart with a couple of sublime passes (even more commendable given the track) Impressed with Jake and Cam generally and Richard finished strongly Danny seemed a little subdued but thats not unexpected David had a tough start but had a encouraging race win Drew didnt look totally comfortable but scored well and great to see him with a Witch on his chest Only slight disappointment was the lack of any victory parade. Quite a number of Witches fans had travelled and deserved some acknowledgement Nice to start with a win and I can see this being a team worth watching Get yourself down to Foxhall good people and give it a look
  2. Good idea - You may knock some sense into it
  3. Drew is Ipswich born and bred and an Ipswich asset - Witches fans see him of one of us and would never be regarded as a guest Also its an inter league challenge where these types of tweaks are often made anyway to even things up
  4. Its been a long long closed season for Ipswich fans Looking forward to a first visit to Leicester on a mini Massif road trip Up the Witches!
  5. Now confirmed that Drew takes the place of KP in the challenge at Leicester http://www.leicesterspeedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31340.1
  6. Ah thats reminded me of the time where when trying to leave a busy stadium that Sal picked his line of traffic only to find others going past him either side Yes he literally couldnt pass a parked car
  7. To be fair in type you cant tell if there was a breath in the middle to separate them
  8. Those colours still stand Yellow has been more noticable in recent times with the Tru link although it has often been a part anyway If you look all the individual sponsors on the Witches suits are in white so more consistentcy (KP aside )
  9. Someone has to be bottom Of course a team towards the top will be more attractive than one lower down due to it being natural to want to link to success and greater TV exposure etc I stand by the claim that higher profile sponsors would expect that type of professional set up rather than a rag bag of different coloured suits and bibs with different sized and style detachable numbers etc
  10. Lets hope all 3 teams see regular features on Look East through the season that help boost the crowds and add to the atmosphere - make matches places that people get a buzz from and want to return for
  11. And IMO this is the major point Yes it is extra expense and yes you dont win because of a fancy suit and covers BUT any future upturn in the sport will be down to attracting quality higher profile sponsors They would only want to showcase themselves is this kind of professional manner
  12. Ipswich taking it one step further Not only matching race suit but fully co-ordinated bike covers also
  13. Press and Practice will herald the return of the Witches to the top table Looking forward to some outstanding action and pictures that will make all around the country take note
  14. You ask how Tai would get on with a one night final - Given that he has won GPs and also topped the qualifier heats at GPs a number of times I would say he wouldve been just fine Interesting you use this as a yardstick yet claim Morton and Jessup who dudnr manage one off wins as better.....
  15. Riss for me is one of the potential big improvers this this Wouldve loved to see him as a Witch
  16. Danny is 4th in the Witches averages Lawson is 2nd
  17. Im still struggling to see how Andersen can be allowed to double up (appreciating this years full regs havent surfaced yet) Previously a rider without an established average from the previous season has not been permitted to double up
  18. Perhaps the moment of maximum exposure isnt right just yet for it to be on the website
