Probably at this time Bacon was one of if not the most improved riders in the Championship in 2018 - a great shame he ended up on the injured list Given that Id say he would be better in the 2nd tier again next year but if he comes back strong after the injury could well be capable of a breakthrough to the next level

With the reworking of the conversion ratio will there be a reset of averages for doubling down (note this is the wording now used and not doubling up) Will old Championship averages be abandoned for those who currently have both? That combined with the reduction to a 38 point team total in the Championship would go a long way to reducing the number involved

Whilst excited at the prospect of the move up there is also a tinge of sadness to be leaving the Championship I have thoroughly enjoyed the Witches latest time in the 2nd tier and the banter on here with a great set of fans all over the UK I hope you all have an enjoyable 2019 No doubt I will stick my nose in every now and then
