  1. Looks to me like Boro went above and beyond what you could expect in order to get the 15 heats completed Whilst a long delay is unfortunate it wouldve been much easier just to pack up and send everyone home feeling short changed and I think Boris effort should in this case be wholly commended
  2. Down to the ref to be strong and make the correct call - whichever way that is If he says carry on Lakeside must or as you say forfeit Equally if he agrees and calls it off you cant complain - his decision must be final
  3. His lack of confidence could be classed as an injury given it became so acute as to potentially be classed as a mental health issue Non physical issues such as this should not be trivialised or treated differently If he is back now he should return to Belle Vue or be classed as witholding his services Re Coty Garcia he greatly exceeded my expectations of him at Ipswich. Bruv assisted him on the spanners at Foxhall. A very unassuming, level headed individual who with the right set ups has the ability to progress - capable of being in the mix guesting in this meeting IMO
  4. Where is Riss riding? If he is then he should now re take his place or he is now witholding his services in Britain and should get a 28 day ban and Belle Vue get a facility
  5. Morley and Bowtell about to contest a run off for the title Just as well they werent expected at Boro......
  6. 99 out of 100 understood - dont think the post or the poster is the issue here....
  7. Apologies - of course Kyle is back!! When riding in another British meeting (double up) that takes precedent the a guest is allowable rather than just r/r
  8. When both second strings missing one has to be replaced with a guest ( cant run double r/r) r/r for Kyle means a heat leader gets a ride rather than a reserve having to take 2
  9. If the meetings have been moved to allow Lakeside to put out their own side then this is a poor show from them Would still be tight mind you. The NLRC could easily take 2.5 hours and finish at 3.30 and its not inconceivable that Morley and Bowtell will be involved late into the meeting Is it realistic to expect them to pack up , travel from Leicester to Peterborough and set up in just 90 minutes? Lakeside have certainly pulled put all the stops in their choice of guests and there is no doubt they are stronger as a result On the face of it although within the rules it appears against the spirit of sportsmanship It almost has me wanting the Panthers to win!
  10. Well well well - who'd have thunk it!! Seems Derwent Park must be the biggest 'trick track' of them all Great result for Worky
  11. I think the 'home advantage' enjoyed by Edinburgh is as much to do with them putting together very strong teams as any 'trick track' situation
  12. Have you watched the Ben Stokes incident? Do you remember the outcome from that? Somehow cant see 'serious consequences' for Allitt given the assessment of the above can you......
  13. An email to re run productions should make getting one of the Ipswich meeting easy enough
  14. Sounds simple but I dont think in reality it works out that way If the 2 teams 1-7 were all separated by around 1.5 points that would cause much more than a 10 point swing in the final score In the majority of races the higher averaged rider would beat their equivalent opposition and the overall score more likely to be 60-30 than 50-40
  15. Absolutely - and nothing is more important than your health and wellbeing so cant blame him at all for going with it
  16. Speculation now over and all seems perfectly reasonable to me Wonder if anyone will look to argue that a planned operation doesnt count as being injured......
  17. Im not aware of anyone that has used that email address having ever received an acknowledement let alone a reply
  18. No way could a team in the top league run on a Sunday afternoon
