  1. Doesnt seem likely Mark was very impressive when he first joined and looked to have rediscovered his form Took a couple of hefty knocks which he hasnt really recovered from and unfortunately his scoring has not just dipped but evaporated almost completely All the best to him
  2. A complete silence had been planned for the Berwick meeting in response to comments about being 'real supporters' 'doing better ourselves' 'what would you know' etc This was largely observed last night instead Apologies to Kevin who probably wasnt expecting such little reaction when he came over. Handled a difficult situation re that and the track prep grumbles with great professionalism (as ever) The Massif was and is about trying to generate atmosphere and positivity and building a connection between fans and club This has generally been the case but has certainly taken a knock. I hope it doesnt just fade away
  3. Effectively Boro could choose who they would prefer to be in the play off by manufacturing results to suit.....
  4. I have criticised last nights track but in no way would I describe Bob Ellis as a crap trackman - far from it Bob had produced a consistent and very good surface for many many seasons. It is only relatively recently it has been more problematic but I would say Bobs experience has actually saved it from being much worse rather than caused its demise The last few weeks has seen a major decline. I would say however that may well be the result of significant damage done as a consequence of the original Glasgow meeting remedial work and subsequent call off Whatever Bobs words last night and actions in his preparations I think it is grossly unfair to label him as useless
  5. One or two comments that the few good scraps meant the meeting entertainment was as good as normal I would say those were despite conditions rather than as a result of There was little real chance of passing IMO - hats off to those that managed it Fair play to Bob the trackman for giving the fan a walk and talk about why he couldnt water at the interval. However the time for the water had indeed passed - that was needed hours earlier When you have dust on the parade lap on a day with no weather issues affecting prep it cant be right - can it?
  6. Anybody need to do your hair? Try the inside line you can already see ya face in it Drier than an Arabs flip flop - no grip no passing no entertainment no hope and no need to be that way
  7. A great gesture (and fitting) for it to be Leigh Lanham that rides the final laps
  8. Factor 50 needed on Saturday for any Bandits fans coming down
  9. Glorious sunshine in Suffolk today with just a few fluffy non threatening clouds Perfect day for it
  10. Think they are using a six man format - ready for next year......
  11. Something usually less impressive than hoped for wrapped in shiny paper and containing a small bang that sometimes doesnt go off
  12. Not too fussed about the result as even 2 Witches home wins this week wont secure a play off place Will be happy just to see a cracker of a meeting Id not be too unhappy to see Glasgow win and make the play offs given that we cant.
  13. Well if Peterborough can have a full facility because Lambert has a wedding I cant see what justification there could be to deny Worky if Klindt is missing even if its just to wash his beard!
  14. I would expect a guest will be allowed under 'personal circumstances' scenario There are a few precedents already
